Telephone: (02762) 222080-81 Fax: (02762) 223574 Website: www.ugvcl.com email: [email protected] 19-Jul-2018 UGVCL’s Mehsana Circle and Palanpur Circle jointly organise an event to offer appointment letters to selected apprentices under Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana Govt. of Gujarat recently launched Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana, under which eligible apprentices associated with Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Gujarat shall be offered suitable services in the departments, corporations, companies and agencies of the government. Under Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited took an initiative to engage the services of such ITI passout youths of North Gujarat. On 19-July-2018, UGVCL’s Mehsana Circle Office and Palanpur Circle Office jointly organized an event at Kamlaba Hall, Mehsana to offer appointment letters to eligible apprentices selected by the Company during Bharti Melas held earlier. Hon. Managing Director Shri Swaroop P., IAS and Hon. Collector & D.M. Shri H.K. Patel, IAS, along with other esteemed dignitaries graced the occasion by lighting the lamp in the beginning of the event. Chief Engineer (Operation) Shri A.K. Mangal, Chief Engineer (P&P) Shri P.B. Pandya, General Manager (Finance) & CFO Shri R.B. Kothari, Additional General Manager (HR) Shri A.C. Prajapati and other senior officers remained present during the event. Principals from regional ITIs, officers from Labour and Employment Dept. as well as from Information Dept. also remained present during this event. In his ceremonial speech, Shri Swaroop congratulated all the newly joined apprentices for their selection in a Company, which has been recently rated the highest when compared with all the electricity distribution companies of India by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. Shri Prajapati briefed the selected apprentices about their roles and responsibilities associated with the appointment, along with kind of benefits they are entitled to as well as the future scope of career progression at UGVCL.
