Conclusions
• INSPIRE isn’t being implemented in isolation
– the landscape is complex
• There is strong convergence with wider UK
data policy and other policy drivers
• Successful implementation requires a broad
programme of business and technical
change
• The UK is making good progress
• But there is much to do to achieve
compliance through the whole INSPIRE
schedule
• And a real need to make sure we deliver
benefits
