Invitation Speech Pathologist Session

Tuesday 19 August 2014 at 9.30am

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have invited Tracey Ellaby, a local Speech

Pathologist, to speak to all parents and carers.

Tracey will speak about the importance of

speech in relation to your child learning to

read and write and to assist with building

confidence and reducing frustration. She will

also talk to you about how to get your child

assessed and strategies that you can put in

place at home.

This information session has been timed to

coincide with the start of the River to Sea

Transition Program!

We extend to you an invitation to this very

important information session followed by

morning tea. Please RSVP to the school office

by Friday 15 August 2014.

River to Sea - Transition to School

7th August, 2014 In transition this week we were looking at plants and seeds. We made grassy heads from egg shells by

planting the seeds. We also planted some cherry tomato seeds and will move them to our garden when

they are seedlings.

We collected leaves from the playground to make our “apple trees” and also painted a butterfly which we

will finish next week. The children are settling in well and enjoying themselves.

South Grafton High School

Tuesday 18th November. Students are to stay for

the entire day. Parents are invited from 9am to

11am for an information session, a guided tour and

morning tea.
