How many channels will I receive with the antenna?The number of channels wi l l vary f rom locat ion to locat ion. Genera l ly , i f you l ive in or near a metropol i tan area, you wi l l receive more channels than i f you l ive outs ide a metropol i tan area. Keep in mind that antenna recept ion may vary based on terra in ( inc luding t rees, bui ld ings, h i l ls , and mounta ins) . The fewer obstruct ions, the better your chance for receiv ing strong dig i ta l s ignals.
What channels can the antenna receive?The antenna is capable of receiv ing programming f rom major local broadcast networks (e.g. ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS) p lus many addi t ional networks ( l ike Qubo, ION, The CW, This TV, MyNetworkTV, Azteca, Telefutura, Univ is ion, and Telemundo). How often do I need to run a channel scan?Run a channel scan af ter sett ing up the antenna, and any t ime you move the antenna. I t 's a good idea to run a channel scan monthly to keep your channels up-to-date.
How do I know where the signal is strongest?Try the antenna in d i f ferent locat ions, making sure to run a channel scan every t ime you move the antenna. The fewer obstruct ions between the antenna and the tower and the h igher the antenna is mounted, the better the chance of receiv ing a strong s ignal . Somet imes moving a few feet can make a d i f ference.
Some HDTVs have a s ignal st rength indicator that shows you how strong your s ignal is . See the instruct ions that came with your HDTV to see i f yours has that feature.
Is there anywhere that the antenna shouldn’t be mounted?The antenna is designed for indoor use only. The antenna is not meant to be mounted outdoors or in the att ic.

I am not getting any channels.
• Run a channel scan on your HDTV. Select Antenna, Of f-Ai r Mode, or Auto-scan, depending on your HDTV. See your TV manual for more informat ion.
NOTE: Running a channel scan is NOT the same as press ing Channel UP/DOWN on your remote.
• Move the antenna, then re-run the channel scan. Something may be obstruct ing the s ignal .
• I f t roubleshoot ing th is issue for the 50-mi le range antenna, use the USB power adapter instead of the USB port on your HDTV to get more power.
• Try adding or removing the ampl ifier i f your model came with one.
One channel is missing.
• Move the antenna, then re-run the channel scan. Something may be obstruct ing the s ignal .
• Try turn ing the antenna 10 or 20 degrees in e i ther d i rect ion to avoid reflect ion, then re-run the channel scan.
The picture or sound freezes while I am watching a channel, or there are boxes in the picture.
• This is of ten caused by a weak or intermit tent s ignal , which can be a resul t of mul t ip le factors inc luding geographica l obstruct ions, severe weather, and meta l st ructures in the home. Try moving the antenna to a d i f ferent locat ion or a iming i t d i rect ly toward the broadcast towers in your area.
