Adept Fluidyne (P) Ltd. Ultrasonic Flowmeters Series Ultrasonic Measuring of your Liquid Flow Introduction Series 6700 UFM is a new range of Transit-Time based Ultrasonic Flowmeters. The Flowmeters are suitable for pipes with diameters of 12 to 4570mm. They feature advanced non-invasive Flow Measurement technology providing a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility and ease of installation. Clamp-on and Insertion Type Flowmeters are available under Ultrasonic Flowmeter Series. The Flowmeters are suitable for virtually all type of liquids. Adept The Ultrasonic Transit-time Flowmeters work on the principle of measuring the time of flight difference between an ultrasonic pulse sent in the flow direction and an ultrasound pulse sent opposite the flow direction. This time difference is a measure for the average velocity of the fluid along the path of the ultrasound beam. By using the absolute transit time and the distance between the ultrasound transducers, the current speed of flow can be easily found. The Transit-Time based Flowmeters are tolerant of liquids with small amount of air bubbles or suspended solids. Introduction Series 6700 UFM is a new range of Transit-Time based Ultrasonic Flowmeters. The Flowmeters
