Paul LoebachNew York City, USPaul Loebach is a furniture and product designer based in New York City and Berlin, Germany. Paul’s background comes from traditional woodworking, handed down from a lineage of family craftsman. He applies his hands-on material approach to a design philosophy that covers a range of industrially manufactured objects from furniture and lighting, to everyday houshold products. Paul’s design focuses on materials, experience, and the emotive meaning of objects. His practice stems from a belief that each design presents a unique opportunity to invoke change, and to adapt objects to the functional needs of our ever-evolving lifestyles.

Lambert RainvilleMontréal, CA Lambert Rainville Bureau de Design operates in Montréal, Canada. With the intention to infiltrate industry, the office aims to implement a contemporary design language anchored in culture and produc-tion. He received a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from Université de Montréal in 2012 and a Masters degree in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2014.

CastorToronto, CA Castor Design is a Toronto-based practice run by Brian Richer and Kei Ng. They have worked on interior projects, custom lighting, furniture design and public art commissions throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

OS & OOSEindhoven, NL Studio OS & OOS was established by Oskar Peet and Sophie Mensen in 2009 who met while studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven in Holland. The two formed OS & OOS to create contemporary objects that are derived from purpose. Their work has been shown at design fairs in London, Paris, Dubai and New York. The studio was awarded Wallpaper Magazine’s “Best Do-mestic Design” in 2013 and has since been designing products and installations rang-ing from lighting, ceramics, carpets and furniture in their distinctive handwriting.

component with emphasis on simple forms, bold colours and unusual material combi-nations. Zoë values material integrity and quality craftsmanship in her work, and aims to inspire the user with a lasting object. She has exhibited her work across North America and Europe.

Harry AllenNew York City, USHarry Allen established his design consul-tancy, Harry Allen Design, in 1993. Since then, he has designed furniture, lighting, products, packaging and interiors for an illustrious roster of clients. Harry’s award-winning work sits in many collec-tions, including MOMA, and is featured regularly in the top design publications. Harry Allen’s long-standing interest in art, new materials — and a systematic design approach — have lead to some of the most intelligent products and interiors in the world today.

MSDSToronto, CAMSDS is a Toronto based multi-disciplinary design practice that brings together expe-rience in interior, furniture, and product design. The studio is dedicated to material exploration, resourcefulness, and commit-ment to client needs. In its brief existence MSDS has realized numerous interiors, licensed products for production, and undertaken speculative works. Clients and collaborators include Spin Toronto, Shopify and Mjolk.

Atlason has since built a comprehensive portfolio in collaboration with MoMA, Ikea, Umbra, Microsoft, Estee Lauder, and Johnson & Johnson. He is sought after by a wide range of internation-al clients for his consulting expertise and his unique vision. Hlynur believes in building multi-layered products that are not only imaginative, but ecologically aware.

Fugitive GlueToronto, CABorn and raised in Toronto, Jano has been described as tall and often bearded. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Carleton University. In 2010 he

established Fugitive Glue, a design studio based in Toronto. Jano has over 20 years of experience in the design field, spanning art, graphics, products and advertising. He views design as a problem solving tool and often compares the business of design to “The Rap Game”. Forever on the grind, he has won zero designer of the year awards and is currently not featured in any muse-um. So his best is still to come …
