I am directed to convey the sanction of the President of India to the amount of Rs.I0,98,08,000I- (Rupees Ten Crore Ninety Eight Lakh and Eight Thousand only) asist installment (50% of Central Share) towards Geo-tagging activities performed by the various States under BLC component of PMAY(U). 2. The above grant is subject to the following conditions:

(i) The States will comply with the terms and conditions stipulated in the guidelines,

CSMC directions and instructions issued by this Ministry.

(ii) The States will utilize the sanctioned grant for the purpose for which it is released.

(iii) 2nd installment will be released on the basis of actual accepted geo-tagging points on Bhuwan portal for each project for which funds have been released. There are 5 stages available on Bhuwan portal for which beneficiaries can be geo-tagged including completion stage. Before release of 2 d installment the completion stage of all beneficiaries in a project must be done.

(iv) The State Governments/Nodal Agency will strictly monitor the progress of the preparatory work.

(v) The amount of central assistance approved will form a part of capacity building plan of the States under PMAY (Urban) mission.

(vi) Transfer of funds to different entities may be made through PFMS, as applicable; and where there is an element of cash transfers to individual beneficiaries, the same may be made through PFMS/DBT mode, as applicable.

3. The amount is debitable from the account of the Central Government in the books under the following Head of Account under Demand No. 56 M/o Housing and Urbanffairs for the year 2018-19:
