Umrah:

Before leaving to Makkah do the following:

- Bathe

- Shave

- Cut Nails

- Perfume on body (NOT clothes)

- Wear Ihraam (Men)

When you get to the Miqat make your intention by

saying:

اللهم لبيك عمرة

Then pray 2 Rakkahs: First Rakkah Al-Fatiha then

Al-Kafirron & Second Rakkah Al-Fathia then Al-Iklas

**Reminder you are in Ihram so not cutting nails,

hair, scented products, men cannot cover hear

and women cannot cover face or hands** {No

intercourse, flirting, kissing, touching, no hunting,

marriage contracts, no cutting down trees}

Keep reciting the Talbiya until you get to the

Haram (Men loud. Women to themselves)


When entering Haram, enter with your right

foot, then say the Duaa:

أعوذ باهلل العظيم، وبوجهه الكريم،

وسلطانه القديم، من الشيطان

هم صل على لالرجيم، بسم هللا، ال

محمد و آله و سلم.

الهم اغفر لي ذونوبي، و افتح لي

أبواب رحمتك.

When you first see the Kabaa take it in,

take a moment, MAKE SINCERE DUAA


Tawaaf: (Requires WUDU. Men expose their right

shoulder)

1) Face the Blackstone and

2) line yourself with the blackstone/ green light

Before starting Tawaaf say:

لهم إيمانا بك، بسم هللا، و هللا أكبر، ال

و تصديقا بكتابك، و وفاء بعهدك، و

اتباعا لسنة النبي صلى هللا عليه و

.سلم Then start to perform Tawaaf: (For men the first

3 Tawaaf should be a fast pace)


When you get to the Yamani corner you say (If you cannot touch it then DO NOT point

to it)

نيا حسنة [البقرة :201] ربنا آتنا في الد

وفي اآلخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار

Then keep performing Tawaaf and

repeat the Duaa everytime you get

to the Yamiani corner (between the

yamani corner & the blackstone)

Perform 7 Tawaaf ** Counter Clockwise**

Increase in Duaa and Dhikr

when your doing Tawaaf

(individually) **Cannot go inside Hateem or that single one

Tawaaf will not count**


When finished all 7

Tawaaf: Find a place behind Maqaam Ibrahim (if

not possible then anywhere in the

Haraam) and

SAY: قام واتخذوا من م

إبراهيم مصلى

Then pray 2 Rakkahs: First

Rakkah Al-Fatiha then Al-

Kafirron & Second Rakkah Al-

Fathia then Al-Iklas


Zam Zam

Before drinking make your intention for

Shifa and something good in this life

and the next

Go and drink Zam Zam water Say

Bismillah and Alhamdulillah and

make Duaa

**Drink in 3 sips and face the

Qiblah** Drink a good quantity

Say this when drinking Zam Zam anytime (optional

not Sunnah)

اللهم إني أسألك علما نافعا، و

رزقا واسعا، و شفاء من كل داء.


Sa’i

Start at Safa (Go to 2nd or 3rd floor)

When you see Safa and are going towards it you

say:

فا والمروة من ۞ إن الص

فمن حج البيت أو شعائر للا

ف اعتمر فل جناح عليه أن يطو

ع خيرا فإن للا بهما ومن تطو

شاكر عليم Surah 2. Al-Baqara, Ayah 158

Then you say:

أبدأ بما بدأ هللا به


Then you start from Al-Safa

Before you start, face the Qiblah and say:

هللا أكبر ، هللا أكبر ، هللا أكبر

لاه ه لا شاريكا لاه ، لاه الملك وا حدا لا إلاها إلا هللا وا

مد هوا عالاى كل شايء قادير ، يحيي و يميت الحا وا

را عابداه ، ناصا عداه ، وا زا وا حداه ، أانجا لا إلاها إلا هللا وا

ه حدا ابا وا ما األاحزا هازا وا

Make your own personal Duaa then say:

ك وله الحمد يحيي و يميت وهو ل إله إل هللا وحده ل شريك له ، له المل

على كل شيء قدير ، ل إله إل هللا وحده ، أنجز وعده ، ونصر عبده ،

وهزم األحزاب وحده


له ، له الملك وله الحمد يحيي و يميت وهو ل إله إل هللا وحده ل شريك

على كل شيء قدير ، ل إله إل هللا وحده ، أنجز وعده ، ونصر عبده ،

وهزم األحزاب وحده

Then start walking towards Marwa (MEN: At

the two green marker walk at a faster pace)


Optional to say when walking

between Safa and Marwa:

رب اغفر و أرحم، إنك

. رب األعز األكرم

اغفر و ارحم و اهدني

السبيل األقوم.


At Marwa face the Qiblah & say: (Make sure to make the full circle on both side) {REPEAT EVERY TIME YOU GET TO SAFA & MARWA}

هللا أكبر ، هللا أكبر ، هللا أكبر

لاه ه لا شاريكا لاه ، لاه الملك وا حدا لا إلاها إلا هللا وا

هوا عالاى كل شايء قادير ، مد يحيي و يميت وا الحا

را عابداه ، لا إلاها ناصا عداه ، وا زا وا حداه ، أانجا إلا هللا وا

ه حدا ابا وا ما األاحزا هازا وا


ل إله إل هللا وحده ل شريك له ، له الملك وله الحمد يحيي و يميت وهو على كل شيء

قدير ، ل إله إل هللا وحده ، أنجز وعده ، ونصر عبده ، وهزم األحزاب وحده


على كل شيء ل إله إل هللا وحده ل شريك له ، له الملك وله الحمد يحيي و يميت وهو

قدير ، ل إله إل هللا وحده ، أنجز وعده ، ونصر عبده ، وهزم األحزاب وحده

Then start walking towards Repeat this every

time you get to Safa or Marwa (Total 7 Circuits)

Finish at Al-Marwa then you EXIT


**Question when we are at Marwa-before exiting- do

we say the Duaa?**

You have completed Sa’i

Now we trim our Hair & MEN: Trim WOMEN: Cut ¼ or

½ an inch for the end of your

hair (put it in a hair bow & cut)

that completes Umrah. Now you are out of Ihram

STAY IN MAKKAH UNTIL the 8th of Dul-Hijah Do not miss any Fard/Jama3a Salah

Rest save your energy for Arafah


8th Day of Thul-Hijah

Before the 8th of Dhul-

Hijah do the following:

- Bathe

- Shave

- Cut Nails

- Perfume on body

(NOT clothes)

- Wear Ihraam (Men)


8th Day of Thul-Hijah cont.

When you get to the Miqat make your

intention by saying:

اللهم لبيك حجThen pray 2 Rakkahs: First

Rakkah Al-Fatiha then Al-

Kafirron & Second Rakkah Al-

Fathia then Al-Iklas

**Collect 80 chickpea size stones**

**Reminder you are in Ihram do not cutting

nails, hair, scented products, men cannot

cover head and women cannot cover face

or hands** {No intercourse, flirting, kissing, touching,

no hunting, marriage contracts, no cutting down trees}


Keep reciting the Talbiya until you get to the

Haram (Men loud. Women to themselves)

Then you reach Mina

Pray all your Salahs there

shortened not combined

Make sure you memorize/ take a

picture of your tent number.

Identify any landmarks and be

aware of surroundings

Rest really well for the BIG DAY TOMORROW! Do not eat too much or anything that will make you

go to the bathroom (the bathrooms are really bad

during HAJJ) Prepare all you Duaa for Arafah

once in a lifetime opportunity


9th Day of Thul-Hijah DAY OF ARAFAH

- After Sunrise you go to Arafah, saying

Takbeer, Tahleel, and Talbiya

- Enter Arafah at Thuhur until after Magrib

- Pray Thuhur & Asr combined & shortened at

Thuhur time.

- Listen to the Khutba, do not talk

- Take advantage of EVERY SECOND make

DUAA!!! Make personal DUAA!

- DO NOT get distracted by group duaa or

others talking or food (eat what you have so

the food does not make you sleepy)

- When at Arafah, be on Wudu, face the

Qiblah, raise your hands and make Duaa,

Istigfar, and Dikir .

- The Prophet SAW said this Duaa a lot on

Arafah:

ل إله إل هللا وحده ل شريك له، له الملك، و له

.الحمد، بيده الخير وهو على كل شيء قدير


When night falls you

go to

Muzdalifah Pray Magrib and Isha

combined at Isha time.

**Make sure you have pebbles

they should not be bigger

than a chickpea 80 of them**

Stay in Muzdalifah until

Fajer


10th Day of Thul-Hijah Eid Day

Pray Fajer (right when it athans) in

Muzdalifah

Then you leave with the group

You have to accomplish 4 things today:

1) Jamarat Al-Aqaba (Only the biggest

one 7 Pebbles)

a. Throw 7 pebbles and say “Allahu

Akbar” every time you throw a pebble

2) Sacrifice the animal

3) Shave/ Trim the Hair

a. Men Shave it all

b. Women: Put is in a bow and trim it ¼ in

4) Go to the Kabah to perform the Tawaf

Al-Ifadah

a. Tawaf & Saee just like we did it in Umrah

**This order is Sunnah, but you can do them in any order**



Throw 7 pebbles at each Jamart so total 21 any

time after Thuhur until Magrib

- On the first Small Jamarat Say

اللهم اجعله حجا مبرورا و ذنبا مغفوراThen say “Allahu Akbar” every time you throw a

pebble

Then walk towards the next one and stop in the

middle and face the Qiblah and raise your hands in

the air make a lot of Duaa

- Then go to the Middle Jamarat Say

اللهم اجعله حجا مبرورا و ذنبا مغفوراThen say “Allahu Akbar” every time you throw a pebble

Then walk towards the next one & stop in the middle &

face the Qiblah & raise your hands in the air make a lot of

Duaa

- Then go to the last Large Jamarat Say

اللهم اجعله حجا مبرورا و ذنبا مغفورا

- Then say “Allahu Akbar” every time you throw a pebble

Then you are done (do not stop & make Duaa)

Sleep in Mina for at least half of the night

This is the last thing you do,

then you get your stuff and

leave to the airport
