Injury Prevention Foundation
Partnership began in 2010 with 3-year commitment to
support the Helmets for Kids program and provide 27,000
helmets in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia
Renewed in 2014 for additional 3-year commitment
Results thus far include:
UPS helmets protected 32 students from serious injury in
crashes
400 teachers and 4,500 parents were trained in road safety
knowledge and skills
11,000 students at 9 schools learned about road safety and
helmets through in-class training and extra-curricular
activities
Child helmet wearing rates increased significantly at target
schools
Total investment to date: $875,000
Fleet Forum
Partnership began in 2011 to support the
Decade of Action for Road Safety
For last 3–years, UPS has supported the
development and implementation of modular
driving training program including creation of
certification programs in road safety and
sustainable marketing and sales strategy
Goal is to tackle growing health risks
surrounding transport and transport networks
UPSer Johannes Faller is serving on Advisory
Board

Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez (FGR)
Partnership began in 2014 with two-year commitment to
support the Child Passenger Safety Education Training Program
which trains facilitators in safety techniques for
roup/individual training in Argentina, Columbia, Mexico and
Uruguay
he FGR works in different projects in the field of Road Safety
in order to address existing needs in Latin America and the
Caribbean regarding child occupant road safety
