According to Ministry of Economy, the SMEs sector represents more than 94 per cent of the total number of companies operating in the country and provide jobs for more than 86 per cent of the private sector's workforce.
Small and medium businesses in the UAE have registered strong compound growth rate over the last two years, underscoring the resilience of small businesses in the UAE amidst challenging economic times, said an industry executive.
RAK Chamber is playing a key role to enhance the SME sector in Ras Al Khaimah by its initiative "RAK SME", and various event and activities intended to enable the SME and help them grow further.
