storing, retrieving, and sending information. It refers to

anything related to computing technology, such as networking,

hardware, software, the Internet, or the people that

work with these technologies.

We have all seen pictures of the lovely globe of Earth

as seen from space. We have also seen so many picture of our Universe including how

our Solar System works, rotation of Earth as well as

other planets of Solar System. Whatever we know

about the mysterious Universe is only because of

advanced technology.Sub-Group-01(A6)

ROLE OF IT IN UNDERSTANDING UNIVERSE

With the invention of Telescope we all came to know about

different question about our Universe like Is Earth is the

center of Universe, how far are the stars, are there other planets outside the Solar

System,...For the first time we came to

know that Earth rotate around the Sun only by the help of

The world's first artificial satellite, the Sputnik 1, was launched by the Soviet Union in 1957. Since then, thousands of satellites have been launched into orbit

around the Earth.Satellites are used for a large number of purposes. Common types include military and civilian Earth observation satellites, communications

satellites, navigation satellites, weather satellites, and research satellites.

ROCKETS

A Rocket is a missile, spacecraft, aircraft or other vehicle that obtains thrust

from a rocket engine. Rockets are used as Satellites

lunch vehicle.It is also used as aircraft.

Astronauts go to space (eg. on Moon, Mars) by aircraft

which is a Rocket.Sub-Group-01(A6)

SUPERCOMPUTERS

A SuperComputer is a computer at the frontline of contemporary processing

capacity – particularly speed of calculation which can happen at

speeds of nanoseconds.These type of computers are placed in Space Research Stations(ISRO,NASA)

to calculate various data sent by satellites in fraction of seconds

CONCLUSION

After completing our project we would conclude that technology helps us in so many ways to understand our universe.We can say that what we all know about

the Universe is because of technology.
