The UNESCO OER Platform:

New, innovative online Platform

offering “selected” UNESCO publications as OER products and

allowing “stakeholders” to freely copy, adapt, and share their resources.

UNESCO/COL OER Policy Guidelines

A Secretariat Document, which aims to provide policy advice

on how the potential of OER can be harnessed to support

quality teaching and learning.

PURPOSE OF THE GUIDELINES

Outlines key issues and suggestions for integrating OER

into higher education

Aims to encourage educational stakeholders to support

the production, adaptation, and use of OER

Developed through an inter-sectoral (CI/ED) and

inter-regional consultation process in collaboration with

the Commonwealth of Learning.

Featuring nearly 6,000 members

Improves access to partners’ learning and training resources,

including UNESCO’s
