CMP Mandate: Enhance transparency of the CDM
SBI to recommend procedures, mechanisms and institutional arrangements to allow for
appeals against Executive Board decisions;
Make available training and information materials to Stakeholders on ongoing
changes and improvements;
Ensure that rulings contain explanations of, and the rationale for, the decisions
taken and that they include the sources of information used;
Continue to revise the documentation to comply with the hierarchy of decisions;
CMP Mandate: Enhance transparency of the CDM
Provide greater clarity regarding the timing and implications of the introduction of
new rules and decisions;
Publish on the UNFCCC CDM website information related to the current and
historic status regarding the processing of case-specific matters and
methodologies, including requests for clarification, deviation and revision and for
changes to project design documents;
Monitor the timelines for the validation and verification processes by DOEs, and
publish a compilation of these information;
