Employer Survey

Employer Advice for Students1 Be confident, ask questions

Know a few things about the company you are going to talk to, good hand shake, no typos in resumes, hand resume to company with text facing employer

Be more confident. Have examples of work or personal experience and how it relates to our mission.

Research some companies briefly before the job fair and be prepared with questions about the company and job. I was most impressed by individuals that did this.

Be confident, energetic, and engaging when speaking to potential employers. First impressions last forever.

Coming prepared with specific questions beyond "what jobs do you have open"

Don't be afraid to introduce yourself. Also important to have strong eye contact

Be open to all possibilities - go out of the box of your major to explore ways to use your major in all kinds of ways.

To be able to articulate what kind of position and work they are really interested in pursuing or passionate about.
