COOPERATION AGREEMENT

I. The College "PJETER BUDI" - Pristina, private institution of Higher Education in Kosovo, St."Gazmend Zajm1" No. 33 with no. license 6-3559 dt.07.T2.2017 and activity number 70271425, isrepresented by Prof. Ass. Dr. Hashim Rexhepi - Dean of the College. (here referred to as "Pjeter Budi")

!1. Univeristy of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" - Gjakova, a Public Institution of Higher Education in str"Ismail Qemail", n.n, 50000, Gjakova, Rep. of Kosovo, represented by Prof. Dr. Shaban Buza -Rector of University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani".

INTRODUCTION

To foster cooperation between Higher Education lnstitutions, based on mutual interest in exchangeof experiences, joint academic and scientific activities, and for the purpose of applying for jointprojects;

Both institutions are interested in supporting and developing of science and culture;

To encourage the economic and social groMh of the population, it is crucial to establishcooperation in the fields of science and culture;

To pursue their goals and proposals, one must create communication channels promoting exchangeactivities;

For these reasons, both institutions consider it very important to increase their mutual relations;

To boost academic and scientific cooperation, especially in the framework of scientific researchcourses;

- international co-operation is of great importance in terms of goals of both institutions.

To this end, both institutions have decided to sign an academic, scientific and cultural agreement asfollows:

@diilH-:H[{lArticle 1. The subject of the agreement

The subject of the agreement is the cooperation between the two Higher Education lnstitutions forapplying for joint projects within the Erasmus programs, as well as joint research and teaching relatedcooperation.

Article 2. Areas of cooperation

2.1. Areas of cooperation include, but are not limited to:

- Joint application in European Union projects and other projects of mutual interest;- Exchange of experiences in the curriculum developmen|- Staff exchanges;- Joint organization of study programs;- Organization of conferences, seminars and scientific symposiums;- Publication of joint scientific journals;- Exchange of literature;- Giving the opportunity to use research equipment and giving free access to the premises of bothinstitutions.- Realization of research projects by budget funds available in any area of common interest,- Exchange of students for short periods, eg. from 1 semester, etc.

Article 3. The term of the agreement

3.1. This agreement is signed without limitation and it will be in force as long as the partie decide not tocease their cooperation.

3.2. The parties to the agreementcontract.

Article 4. Rights of the parties

4.1. The parties have the right to seek fulfillment of the obligations under this cooperation agreement.4.2. The parties have the right to request termination of cooperation after the expiration of the 2 years

5.1. The parties to the agreement are obliged not to violate one another's activity and not to take actionsthat harm their reputation.5.2. The parties are obliged to notify for specific projects for the purpose of joint application.

Article 6. Funding projects

The parties agree that the costs of joint projects shall be made in solidarity in accordance with budgetarypossibilities.

Article 7. Settlement of disputes

The parties agree that eventual disputes concerning the implementation of this agreement shall be

resolved by agrement, otherwise they may address the competent court in Pristina.

Article 8. Signing of the agrementThis agreement was signed on the date 71L212017, by representatives of both institutions in 4 identicalcopies, 2 each per institution.
