UNI-TECHNOLOGIES Sdn Bhd (UTSB) a wholly owned subsidiary company of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
(UTM) is an established multi-disciplinary consultancy company and a Bumiputera contractor with proven
excellent track record.
Since its incorporation in 1992, UTSB has shown excellent track record in providing consultancy services with
more than 1,000 completed projects, with estimated total value of RM 150 million. The company has served more
than 300 satisfied clients, comprising of local and international clients as well as government clients, in diverse
field of consultancy project services.
UTSB’s core activities have been focusing on specialised consultancy professional services, commissioned
studies and providing specialised training, conducting and support services, and petrol station business. By
engaging the professional expertise with UTM and developing internal capability particularly in consulting project
management services and delivery, UTSB has been able to fully integrate dynamic client requirements into
custom-made projects, providing solutions and delivery specialised made projects, providing solutions and
delivering specialised trainings, while keeping cost optimisation of our clients in mind.

UTSB BOARD OF DIRECTORS
He obtained his doctorate in Engineering majoring in Concrete Structures from the
University of Surrey, United Kingdom in 1993. With over 35 years of experience in
higher education, he holds several strategic posts including research management,
corporate affairs and finally as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) at UTM from
2013 until 2020. He had served as directors in several boards of university subsidiaries.
He is currently a contract professor with the School of Civil Engineering, Faculty of
Engineering, UTM.
He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering majoring in Environment from
University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 1992. In his early career
development, he started as environmental consultant and has now gained over 35
years of experience in respective industry. With his prominent credibility and
leadership, he has been appointed as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research &
Innovation) and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International) at UTM.
He owned a doctorate in Information Technology. He is currently serving as the
President/CEO/Founder of Prestariang Berhad since its establishment in the year of
2003. The company has successfully built strong partnership with major industry
player in ICT and Talent & Technology Solutions player in Malaysia and globally.
He graduated with honors in Bachelor of Economics at University of Malaya and
had undertaken Diploma of Accounting from the respective university. He has
served UTM Bursar since 1992 and has now retired. He has contributed to UTSB for
over 28 years since its establishment in year 1992 until now. He is currently a board
director of several UTM subsidiary companies including Sparkle Precision Sdn Bhd.
She received her education at Institut Teknologi Mara in Diploma of Business
Administration in 1983 and pursued her Degree in respective field at University of
Ohio, USA in 1985. She served as the Bursar at UTM since 2011 and has now retired.
She is now acting as one of the Director of UTM`s subsidiary companies, Phyto
Biznet Sdn Bhd.

MAIN SERVICES IN 2019 & UTSB AFFLIATE COMPANY Since its incorporation on the year 1992, UTSB has evolved its business activities which comprise various fields of
Project Management and Information Technology. It is integrated with the expertise from the University which
makes this company competitive and possesses diverse expertise to serve the market demands.
Among the main core activities of our company are:
I. Consultancy Services
Bridging the gap between knowledge and real
practice forms through of our consultancy services.
We engage in consultancy services by providing
solutions to technical problems, giving specialist
opinions on manufacturing processes, process
development and product innovations.
Our consultancy expertise made up of a large pool of
well-qualified researchers, private and public sector
specialists. This helps us to go an extra mile in many
different perspectives to be the nation’s preferred
consultancy service provider.
II. Project Management and Professional
Consultancy Services
UTSB through its Project Management Services
provides consultancy services essentially for
construction works and various professional
services.
With almost 28 years of experience, our project
management services has been entrusted with
central roles of certain large projects and continue
to achieve major successes and is well organized to
be a one-stop centre to coordinate and implement
construction projects.
III. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) &
Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (DEIA)
This field has been one of the major consultancy
projects in Uni-Technologies Sdn. Bhd.
We have successfully completed the Studies with
tremendous record awarded continuously by the
Government Ministry and Agencies.
V. Information Technology
With 130 experienced professionals-cum-
instructors, UTSB maintains its significant presence
in information Technology segment currently
winning over 100 IT related projects.
IV. Petronas Petrol Station
UTSB Petronas Petrol Station has officially launched
its operation since November 2017.
Since its operation, it has contributed to UTSB with
good income which has increased UTSB’s revenue
generally.
The operation is divided into two core and major
businesses which are Petrol/Diesel and “Kedai
Mesra” which has attracted more consumers
including UTM staff.
UTSB subsidiary & affiliate companies are as follows:
• UTM Souvenir Sdn Bhd (formerly known as U-Shop Sdn Bhd) – A 100% UTSB shareholder which
focuses mainly on souvenirs and gifts
• Phyto Biznet Sdn Bhd – UTSB is currently holding 49% shares in this company where it serves on sales
of products developed by IBD
• Augmented Innovation Sdn Bhd – with 20% shares under UTSB, this company engaged in the
commercialization of research, development, and educational advancement
