On completion of this unit the student should be able to analyse and discuss patterns of social life and the factors which influenced changes to social life in the first half of the twentieth century.

With reference to ‘The Boy in Striped Pyjamas’, class activities and independent research demonstrate your understanding of AT LEAST THREE features (from the ‘Seven Structures of Control’) of life in Nazi Germany.

• Is their organisation credible (i.e. Holocaust Museum vs dedicated Neo-Nazi Enthusiast)?

You will be allowed a two-sided ‘cheat sheet’ for these responses only.

• Review your test from Outcome 1 and your essay from Outcome 2. You will choose one extended response form either of these. Also review class activities.
• Complete your poster for Outcome 3. This will directly relate to one of your extended responses.

• Complete Lotus Charts to review what you have learnt about Nazi Germany throughout this semester.
