Musical Chairs
• Arrange all the chairs in the room so that they are in pairs of two.
• Walk around when the music plays
• When the music stops hurry and sit down in a chair
• With the person sitting next to you: introduce yourself and practice your small talk questions from the Basic Information Sheet.
Ask and Remember
• Half the class has Worksheet A, Half have Worksheet B. I will model the activity first.
• People with Worksheet A ask the questions to the Worksheet B. Remember their answers and do not write anything down.
• When finished Worksheet A repeats back Worksheet B’s answers in the form of: “You’re birthday is….”, “You cannot …..” “You….”
• Switch roles and now its Worksheet B’s turn to ask questions Worksheet A, and then repeat back their answers.
