• Nor’easters- strong storms that bring high winds, heavy snows, and freezing cold.– Occur in Winter

• Northwestern Region – coldest area in state–High elevations have cooler

summers and colder winters.• Summer temperatures – 75 degrees

• Winter temperatures – 26 degrees
