There was a mean potter called Tin, and a cleverWasherman called Nam.
One day, the king wanted a white elephant.Tin told the king that Nam could wash a grey elephant so clean,It would turn white!
Nam said that he needed a big pot to do this. The King orderedTin to make the pot. Tin’s pot was not strong enough and it broke.Tin made another pot. This pot was strong enough and big enoughFor the elephant.
Nam built a fire under the pot but the water did not boil. “This Pot is too thick,” he said. Tin made many pots but none of them was right. The King was very angry. He ordered Tin to leave the country.Clever Nam lived happily from then on.
