Learning Intentions:Given a review of 3D solids students will recognize their corresponding net and find their surface area of a prisms and cylinder.

Unit 2 Module 3.2

Success Criteria:I will be able to recognize the net of a 3D solid.

I will be able to find the surface area of a 3D solid.

Surface Area: the total area of all the faces and curved surfaces of a 3D figure.

Vocabulary

Lateral Area: the total area of the lateral faces not including the bases of a 3D figure.
