Four classmates discussed the following problem. Which classmate do you
agree with?
A. Rosie says to find a common denominator (24), then make the original fractions
equivalent with the denominator of 24. and , and lastly add the and
numerators leave the denominator as 24 (8 + 12 = 20), so Rosie’s answer is 20/24.
B. John says to add the numerators together (2 + 4 = 6), then add the denominators
