All saints’ Day Falls on November 1st. In order to commerate

the saints. The evening before, October 31st became known as

Halloween. It was the even of the Celtic new year. On this day ghosts walked and mingled with the living. They prepared food

and when night fell they dressed up and tried to resemble

the souls of the dead. Hope that the ghosts would leave peacefully

before mid-night of the new year.
