Our annual general meeting was successfully held at Kowloon Tong Club on the 8th July. It was exciting to see familiar faces, yet, even more exciting seeing new faces being introduced to our big loving sisterhood!
Though the routine agenda may bore you a little, for sure that everyone enjoyed the night with delicious food and long chats with all-time schoolmates. Our shopping urge was definitely satisfied as there was a huge variety of souvenirs being sold, including useful embroidered towels, suitcase tags and bracelets that goes with any outfit. How can anyone resist them?
While we were all overjoyed with laughter and stuffed with lovely food, it was sad for us to announce the retirement of our beloved Sister Jeanne. Though the news seemed gloomy to all of us, it will always be our wish that Sister Jeanne can finally head home and enjoy life with her family!

Meet the 2011-2012 FSA Exco
Sister Rose
Sister Rose Duchesne is doing well. On July 5, Maureen Tse visited the Motherhouse and had lunch with her and other Sisters. Despite her jet lag, she was in good spirits and had a nice chat for almost two hours. She expressed concern that her doctor wanted her, in three months, to regain the 14 pounds that she had lost. With her determination and discipline, we are sure her physical strength will continue to improve.
"Great photos! Wonderful Evening! I know the children enjoyed
themselves. FSA picked up where the primary school left off. Lydia and Gloria were so good to be there and give prizes. We had about 5-6 inches of snow on the 29th of October and in some parts of NY they had more than 10 inches. I believe New Jersey had one section with 28 inches. Can you imagine snow in October? Many trees fell from the weight of snow on leaves that had not fallen off because of hot weather. It is beautiful now about 54 F which is great weather. My very best to all who made this a great evening for all."

Sad news about our beloved Sister Agnes (Rose Eileen) McKeirnan's passing
We are so sorry to bring you the sad news about our beloved Sister (Rose Eileen) Agnes McKeirnan's passing. Sister passed away peacefully to her Heavenly Father at about 1.30 p.m. on September 5, 2011. Sister would be 102 on October 1, 2011. Sister Agnes was not sick but since the beginning of July this year, Sister became weaker and weaker physically and needed oxygen to breathe. On Monday, her breathing became shallower and shallower. At last, her breathing stopped and she went back to God peacefully. Let us pray for the repose of her soul.
