Everyone loves Carnaval! It’s the number one holiday in Brazil. Carnaval is a four-day party in February or March. That’s summer in Brazil, and the weather is hot.

Carnaval starts with the Samba Parade. Thousands of people watch the parade. Friends and families play samba music and dance, too.

During Carnaval, there are big parties. Bands play music. People wear amazing costumes and masks. They eat barbecue.
