Facility Updates
All Installations MP Desk Relocated, ESSO Fuel Card Change
The Military Police Desk is now open in Building 2949, Panzer Kaserne. Non-Emergency phone numbers remain the same.
ESSO fuel cards for rental vehicles are no longer processed on Patch Barracks. Customers must go to the Customs Office in Building 2913 on Panzer Kaserne. The MP desk will only process fuel cards after hours Friday 6 p.m. – Sunday 11:59 p.m.
Fitness Centers Now Open on Training Holidays All Fitness centers will now remain open during normal business hours during USAREUR Training Holidays, Mon-Fri from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Garrison Org Day Closures Sept. 1
To allow for maximum participation on Panzer Kaserne, most garrison facilities will be closed. The Panzer back gate will open as scheduled, duty buses will run on a normal weekday schedule. Family and MWR facilities will be closed except the hotels and fitness centers, which will remain open. Child, Youth and School (CYS) Service facilities will offer consolidated services on Panzer Kaserne. Contact

Domestic Violence Awareness Month Kick-off Sept 25-28 October is DVAM. Members of the Family Advocacy Program team will be at the main gate of each installation this week handing our awareness ribbons to promote DVAM. Garrison Print News Returns Monthly

Reminder to all community members, DODEA schools tracks and fields are not open to the community. Units, registered garrison organizations and mission partners that wish to schedule training on school
grounds may request field space by completing a request form available from school administration. Individuals are not permitted to enter school grounds at any time without prior permission. Parking is not permitted at the field on Panzer Kaserne’s Stuttgart High School. The road behind the school
is for emergency vehicles and deliveries only. Food is not permitted on the turf/track. Keep the area clean of water bottles and trash.

Panzer Housing Parking Blocked Nine parking spaces between Bldg. 3100 and 3101 (Visitor, C2, 4, 6, 8, A1, 3, 5) in the housing area will be blocked Aug. 28 through Sept. 29. Residents should use the marked parking lot on Waldburg Str. Panzer Housing Heating Line Project
The Directorate of Public Works Engineering Division contractor has begun a multiple-phase project that will ultimately connect Panzer Housing to the district heat lines from the City of Böblingen. Plans will be communicated to any residents impacted 2 weeks out. Work should not affect traffic.
Projected through 2018.
Patch Barracks Patch Middle School Construction
Construction on Illinois Straße has changed the drop off and pick up zones to Montana Straße. Parents will have to drop their Middle School-aged children off at other locations on Patch Barracks such as Washington Square, Bankers Row, the AAFES Food Court, the Commissary, the Community Center or the Patch Gym. The students will then need to walk to school from there. The students will also need to be picked up at any of those locations after school.
Montanan Straße and parts of New York Straße is closed to all traffic except school buses starting at 7:25 a.m. until all buses have left the area, and again in the afternoon starting at 2 p.m. On early release Thursdays, the afternoon closure will occur at 1 p.m.
Contact the school principal directly at [email protected] Garrison Force Protection Exercise Sept. 16 There will be enhanced security throughout the installation, emergency vehicles and personnel onsite all day. Parking will be blocked in several areas. All community members should have two forms of ID at the main gate and be patient entering and exiting the installation. No services are scheduled to be interrupted during the exercise. Patch Food Court Roof Project The Food Court in Bldg. 2330 will undergo a roof replacement to begin this fall. Start/End date TBD. During construction, access to the facility may be adjusted with scaffolding placement, and parking against the building will be blocked. More information will be announced as confirmed at stuttgartcitizen.com. Construction outside Patch Main Gate Construction on the side of Katzenbach Straße is in progress up to the pedestrian crossing at the main gate, in front of the footpath on the right side. The footpath will be closed through completion in Sept.
Kelley Barracks Law Center Closed Sept 8 Kelley Sewer Project
Through mid Sept. This traffic plan is approved by the garrison Directorate of Emergency Services, Traffic Management and Collision Investigations.
Spruce Street near the Gas Station will close. The Gas station is only to be used for fuel available in one-way traffic.
Child Development Center, Building 3368 “Drop Off” will be blocked with temporary reserved parking blocked for parents.
Spruce Street (between Bldg. 3369 and 3433) will be two-way traffic up to the work area. Pine Street will be two-way traffic and the parking spaces will be blocked

Detours and blocking signage will be marked on Kelley to complete the 3-year sewer project by 2019. JAMII Room Closure The Kelley Barracks community room closed for construction in the building through Feb. 2018. Kelley Subway Restaurant Construction The new Subway restaurant facility next to the Cantina is in progress. Parking areas are blocked until completion estimated by Sept. 2017.
Robinson Barracks RBES Gym Closed Due to a structural failure, the school gymnasium is closed. Re-open date Fall TBD.

Due to the sensitive nature of the concentration camp tour, no one under the age of 14 years old can participate in the tour.
