Dear Mr. LeJeune:

Reference is made to your request dated January 31, 2018, received by this office on February 1, 2018, to modify Pipeline Segment No. 19349 by retrieving an associated well jumper from Subsea Well 1 to a PLEM, all in Mississippi Canyon Area Block 79. The jumper is being removed due to a recent subsea inspection.

A separate application wil l be submitted to install a new jumper.

Dear Ladies and Gentleman:

Under the provisions of Title 30 CFR, Section 250 Subpart J and Title 30 CFR, Section 250 Subpart Q, LLOG Exploration Offshore, L.L.C. (LLOG) hereby submits this application in quadruplicate (original and 3 copies) for the modification of the Well Jumper portion of ROW Pipeline Segment No. 19349.

In 2016, LLOG installed one (1) 6.625" O.D. Well Jumper (Segment No. 19349) from Mississippi Canyon 79 SS001 Well Manifold to the Mississippi Canyon 79 PLEM, Mississippi Canyon Block 79, OCS-G-27259, Gulf of Mexico, Offshore Louisiana.

The proposed modification consists of the removal of the existing Well Jumper following a recent subsea inspection and structural assessment.

In support of this modification, LLOG submits the following attachments:

LLOG is prepared to begin the removal as soon as possible; therefore, your earliest review and consideration will be greatly appreciated.

The installation of a new Well Jumper will be captured in a subsequent submission as part of this modification application. LLOG will be prepared to install a new Well Jumper as soon as possible.

1.0 Introduction

LLOG has done recent metrology at the Otis field and have determined that the MC 79 #1 jumper needs to be recovered and reworked due to changes in the initial metrology measurements.

2.0 General Information

2.1 Locations

MC 79, No. 1 (well) SN 19349

2.2 6" Jumper

6.625"OD x 0.750" WT, API 5L Gr. X65 Insulation: GSPU, 2" thick Jumper length/weight in air: 60713.61 Kips

2.3 Initial Conditions -The jumper will be flushed with MeOH to 2 times the jumper volume prior to arriving in the field

-The plet valve will be closed after the flushing operation.

3.0 Jumper Removal

3.1 Mobilize ROV vessel to MC 79 # 1. 3.2 Locate jumper and perform video survey. Call Delta House and confirm the MC

79 #1 field is powered down and well is shut in.

3.3 Inform the platform the ASD will be unplugged from the jumper.

3.4 Disconnect ASD flying leads from jumper

Notes: ASD: Unplug the ASD sensor from funnel on jumper and park sensor onto top of MC 79 tree.

3.5 ROV to setup rigging on jumper and prepare to make cuts.

3.6 ROV to use super grinder to make cuts on belly of jumper 1' from target elbows.

3.7 Recover belly section of jumper first.

3.8 ROV to rig up to XT-side of jumper and unlatch the KLV8 as per FMC operating procedure. Recover section to deck.

3.9 ROV to rig up to PLET-side of jumper and unlatch the KLV8 as per FMC operating procedure. Recover section to deck.

3.10 Inspect pipe with NORM Meter.

3.11 Cap pipe ends to prevent oxidation.

3.12 Install FMC short term protection caps on well and plet hubs.

3.13 Perform LiDAR metrology for MC 79 #1 replacement jumper.

3.14 Demobilize
