5iqnif1cance, continued: fr a t e r n a l oroups. The Kniqhts of Pvtnias Unity Lodge No. 37 was apparently responsible for tne oriCK veneer of 195/. The black masonic lortoe, which s p l i t into the Pythagoras Lodge No. 87 and the Proarsssive Lodge No. 432 in the l.940s, also met in ttie upper f l o o r . This structure is •une of two surviving buildings in the c i t y ' s once active black Dusiness center.
