To issue information and instructions for the Marines and Sailors of Golf Co. 2 nd Battalion, 25 th Marines participating in Annual Training (AT) to be conducted at MCB Quantico, VA. over the period of 17 June 2006–01 July 2006. 2. COMMANDER’S INTENT. The purpose of this exercise is to hone the Golf Company’s combat readiness. The method will be to deploy Golf Company to MCB Quantico, Va. and conduct an Annual Training Exercise (AT). The end state will be the enhancement of Golf Company’s combat effectiveness. 3. SITUATION. Golf Company will conduct an AT from June 17, 2006 until July 01, 2006 at MCB Quantico, VA. IOT continue to build a foundation for proficiency, which will evolve into proficiency at the platoon and company level. Periods of instructions will be conducted during any down time to work on deficiencies from previous drills. 4. MISSION. Golf Company, 2/25 will move to MCB Quantico, VA. in order to enhance the combat readiness of the Company through an Annual Training Exercise. 5. EXECUTION a. Scheme of Maneuver. The Advance Party will depart 15 June 2006 at 0600 via government vehicle to confirm the training areas, billeting, ammunition and other RSU supported items. The Company’s movement to MCB Quantico, VA. will be by bus. The Company will muster at 0500 with a departure time of 1000 on 17 June 2006. Upon arrival Golf Company will move to Camp Upshur for billeting and begin preparations for training. The company will retrograde back to the Home Training Site (HTC) at 0730 on 01 July 2006 via bus. Upon return to HTC the Company GySgt will inspect the bus for equipment and trash. Weapons cleaning, re-secure of armory items and administrative requirements will follow after return to HTC. b. The company will retrograde back to the Home Training Site (HTC) at 0730 on 01 July 2006 via bus. Upon return to HTC the Company GySgt will inspect the bus for equipment and trash. Weapons cleaning, re-secure of armory items and administrative requirements will follow after return to HTC.

(1) Executive Officer

(a) Maintain an efficient flow of concurrent tasks and

supervise platoon actions prior to departure. Ensure time is being properly economized so that Golf Company will meet its required departure timeline.

(2) 1st Sergeant

(a) Submit AT roster for every Marine training during the

exercise.

(3) Inspector-Instructor Training Section

(a) Provide necessary personnel for advance party NLT 1300, 07 May 2006.

(b) Provide and maintain an accurate personnel roster during

the AT exercise. (c) Ensure staging of vehicles, ammunition, water, and chow at

the various ranges prior to the commencement of training.

(d) Coordinate and ensure proper issue of communications gear to the RSO and Platoons. Report progress to Commanding Officer when communications tasks are complete.

(e) Assign a Marine to be the safety driver for HMMWV during

training exercises.

(f) Maintain an efficient flow of concurrent tasks and supervise platoon actions prior to departure. Ensure time is being properly economized so that Golf Company will meet required departure timeline.

(4) Supply/MT Chief

(a) Ensure bus transportation for golf company personnel participating in the AT exercise. -Buses at Picatinny Arsenal NLT 0800, 17 June 2006. -Buses at Camp Upshur, MCB Quantico, VA. NLT 1600 17 June 2006. (b) Ensure bus drivers have strip maps of MCB Quantico, VA. to locate Camp Upshur for billeting. (c) Ensure the advance party has all supporting documents to make liaison with RSU/ASP, MCB Quantico, VA. for training support.

(5) Medical

(a) Identify all medical requirements to support Golf Company during their AT.

(b) Screen Marines medical records for injuries that would prevent Marines from participating in an AT.

(c) Ensure medical records are packed and ready for

transportation to MCB Quantico, VA. with the advance party on 17 June 2006.

(6) Communications

(a) Ensure Communication support above and beyond Table of Equipment for Golf Company is requested through RSU.

(7) Armory

(a) Coordinate armory to be ready to issue weapons at 0500 on 17 Jan 2006. Cross-reference weapons card with roster, all

individual weapons will be signed individually.

(b) Ensure one Marine per bus draws security rounds for transportation of weapons.

(c) Ensure that all individual weapons have been PFI and ready

for deployment NLT 12 May 2006 c. Coordinating Instructions (1) Advance party at HTC on 15 June 2006 at 0600 for departure to MCB Quantico, Va. (2) Muster main body at HTC on 17 June 2006 at 0500. (3) All weapons will be carried by individual Marines to MCB Quantico, VA. (4) One Marine per bus with a weapon and security rounds. 6. ADMIN/LOGISTICS. The following is a list of requirements to support training. a. ADMIN

(1) Admin section will issue the proper set of “orders” to the individual Marine.

(2) UNIFORM: Green Digital Utilities, cover, boots, I.D. Tags (neck & left boot) and ID card.

(3) EQUIPMENT: See gear list enclosure. (4) BILLETING: RSU Barracks at Camp Upshur.

(5) MESSING: MRE’s during bus travel and during training. (6) TRANSPORTATION: (3) 48 pax buses leaving Picatinny Arsenal at 1000 on 17 June 2006 and returning on 01 July 2006 at approx

0600. b. LOGISTICS

(1) Ammo: Golf Company must ensure that required ammunition is at the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) MCB Quantico, VA. via BN/RSU prior to arriving for training. RSU phone number is (703) 784-5566 POC GySgt Urquieta.

(2) Vehicles: Motor T Chief will ensure all vehicles being used

during the AT are PM’d, loaded and staged NLT 13 June 2006 for

(3) Medical: A safety corpsman will be identified for all training. During all training a corpsman with required equipment will be co-located with the safety vehicle and be familiar with MCB Quantico, VA. Medevac procedures.
