Oil Problem Right Now

• The United States is too dependent on the Middle East for oil.

• We are dumping billions in spending's towards oil, adding to the U.S. debt crisis.

• The U.S. relies 40% of its oil petroleum from imports from other countries.

• Oil fracking will start decreasing by 2020.

Consumption of Oil in U.S.

• The U.S. consumes almost 19.5 million barrels a day.• Ever year oil consumption goes up.• It is almost reaching its peak.• We need to change!!!!

Alternative Resources

• The United States has been trying towards other sources of energy to replace oil.

• Air, solar, electricity, hydro.• Alternative sources of energy is in this generations future

Ideas on how you can save oil

• People can ride their bikes.• People can carpool.• You can buy cars that get more miles to the gallon.• Buy electric cars.

What we’re doing now

• The U.S. is going green. We are making electric cars, solar cars, and now you get more miles to the gallon.

• The U.S. is trying to cut back on oil imports, and is trying to use American oil and unlimited resources.

• Oil companies are cutting back on oil sales.• The U.S. needs to find an alternate resource fast, before it

is too late.

What we need to do to save the next generation

• The amount of oil that we are using yearly is going to eventually catch up to us. By 2020 the world is going to hit its peak, and then the world will really have to do something.

• The U.S. needs to focus on making just electronic cars.• The citizens need to take action also to help cut back on

oil.

International Debt

• The United States debt every year has been increasing by the billions, and the big number we owe is only getting bigger

• We are $18.1 trillion in debt• AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!!!• We need to stop spending are money on the things we

want and start spending money only on what we need.• This will be a start to our crisis, and we can start

building from it.

• We should bring the troops home and have most of our defense on American soil.

• Raise taxes on the rich and middle class.• Stop spending money on oil imports from other countries

• The U.S. has caused this debt and now it is going to be our responsibility to take care of this problem.
