Abundance. Some see it as a blessing and some weather under it as a curse. Strange that the same phenomenon has two very opposite effects. It is a simple Biblical principle, however, that clears this up: the amount may/may not be the issue, but the heart is always the issue. A heart fully devoted to Christ finds blessing and opportunity in little and in much. A heart far from God is consumed by too little or never enough. May you find blessing in your abundance - great or small - with a heart rested in God. Jeff Brown met with pain specialists this week to chart a new path towards resolving intense pain issues on his left side. Jay TeBrake and family gather today and tomorrow to remember the life of Jay's dad, John, who passed away this past week. Visitation is today from 6-8pm at Peterson Brothers, with the Celebration of Life service tomorrow at Rock of Life Church at 2pm. Bev Marcus had a good report with her angiogram this week. Her heart still has issue pumping at a sufficient rate. Doctors are hopeful that with continued treatment the heart will strengthen over time. This week the churches of Classis Lake Superior will be gathered in Edina for two days of prayer and business to collaborate in ministry together in this region. Praise and Pizza Night Sunday, March 15th Starting at 5:00p.m. with pizza to follow Next week, Sunday, March 8, in lieu of our usual second Sunday communion offering for the love fund, we will hold a special offering for the New York Mission Trip. 13 Unity Students and 10 Unity adults will be taking part in this bi-annual ministry April 7- 14! Hard work by both the young people and adults has gone into this trip. Financial need remains and your help can make a big difference. Students have requested our prayer support and financial support as they partner with the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM). While there students learn about inner-city ministry at the grassroots through diverse, cross-cultural, hands-onoutreaches that take place via street meetings, soup kitchens, rescue missions, and more.Please prayerfully consider your donation toward this life-changing trip. Betty Himmelspach had knee replacement surgery and is now at Rice Care Therapy for a time of healing and recovery.

Jeff Brown met with pain specialists this week to chart a new path towards resolving intense pain issues on his left side.

Jay TeBrake and family gather today and tomorrow to remember the life of Jay's dad, John, who passed away this past week. Visitation is today from 6-8pm at Peterson Brothers, with the Celebration of Life service tomorrow at Rock of Life Church at 2pm.

Bev Marcus had a good report with her angiogram this week. Her heart still has issue pumping at a sufficient rate. Doctors are hopeful that with continued treatment the heart will strengthen over time.

This week the churches of Classis Lake Superior will be gathered in Edina for two days of prayer and business to collaborate in ministry together in this region. Delegates from Unity are: Pastor Steve, Elder Perry Breems, and Deacons Tim Ahrenholz and Eric Watson.

Next week, Sunday, March 8, in lieu of our usual second Sunday communion offering for the love fund, we will hold a special offering for the New York Mission Trip. 13 Unity Students and 10 Unity adults will be taking part in this bi-annual ministry April 7-14! Hard work by both the young people and adults has gone into this trip. Financial need remains and your help can make a big difference. Upcoming Events to look forward to:

The Fortress men's ministry of Willmar will be having their annual banquet at the Willmar Conference Center on Friday, March 27, with a

silent auction beginning at 5:30pm, and the banquet at 6:00pm. Unity has reserved a table at this event! Tickets are just $35. Contact the church office to reserve your ticket today!

Residents (and their families) of Bethesda are invited to a Communion Worship Gathering in the chapel at Bethesda on Friday,

March 6, 2020, at 10:00am. This service is hosted by rotation of the RCA/CRC churches of the area. Pastor Steve Zwart and Unity Church will be hosting this service on March 6. There will be a time of music and the Word, along with serving of the Lord's Supper. All are invited.

Men’s Lenten Breakfast Come join Men of all ages for a delicious pancake & sausage breakfast at Bethany RC in Clara City on Wednesday mornings beginning March 4th – April 8th 6:30am. Breakfast will be served with a

short message from area speakers to follow. They encourage everyone to bring a friend who has not yet experienced this great time of fellowship! Freewill offering to offset costs for the use of the Bethany Community Space.

Roseland Reformed Church will be having their annual pancake supper on March 9 serving from 4:30 pm until 7. Proceeds will be benefiting Holly Pennings for an upcoming mission trip with Hope Haven and local community projects.

Rock of Life CRC invites you to their Annual Soup and Dessert Supper fundraiser on March 11 from 4:30-6:30pm. They will be serving a variety of soups, bread and cheese, beverages and desserts. They will be collecting a free-will offering and the proceeds will go to help fund supplies and

expenses for "Days for Girls"-the mission work of their Coffee Break Women's Bible Study. They would love to see you there and fellowship with you!

VBS Volunteers Needed - First CRC of Prinsburg will be hosting VBS in the evenings, from June 8 – 12 and it’s time to get excited! This year’s theme is Rainforest Explorers: Jesus Leads the Way.

They are sending out an early reminder because they are in need of volunteers, please prayerfully consider joining their team. They’d love to have you. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sarah Punt at 320-979-6941 or Melissa Bonnema at 320-894-2822.

Finding your Freedom Join Bunde CRC at the Best Life Ministries One-Day event on Saturday, March 21, at Bunde CRC, Clara City, MN. This conference will run from 8:30am-2:30pm. The cost is $24 per ticket and it includes lunch. You can get tickets by

Living Hope in Willmar, in cooperation with Community Christian School, is hosting Dr. Tedd Tripp as he presents from his book “Instructing A Child’s Heart”. This two-day FREE event begins Friday evening, April 3 with registration at 6:30pm and seminar from 7-9pm. On Saturday morning, April 4 there is a light breakfast fellowship from 8-9am with seminar beginning at 9-12:30pm. Childcare will be provided.

School Page… New York Mission Trip It's time to clean out those closets and help the NYMT kids from your church earn money for their upcoming trip in April. Just contact one of the students below and they will come and pick up

your items and bring them to the store for you. This is a partnership between the store and the students, so please have them bring in your items otherwise it will not be counted towards the NYMT funds. Thank you for supporting them in their efforts to reduce the cost of the trip. The Entitlement Fix - Monday, March 2nd at 6:45pm at the CMCS Event Center. In this workshop, you will learn practical Biblical principles to cultivate a family culture of responsibility, gratitude, and service. This

is a FREE event and childcare will be provided to those who RSVP. Go to the school's website (www.cmcschool.org) to register and join them for this seminar on March 2. See you there!

The CMCS Music Department kicks off its Spring season with the Spring Band Concert on Tuesday, March 10, in the high school gym at 7:00. All four band levels will be performing and even combining to bring a wonderful evening of music to the community. Selections will include energetic, jazzy pieces from beginning students, some popular movie themes from the middle school level, and some significant works in band literature from the Concert Band. A free-will offering will be taken to support the CMCS music program.

Homeschool Co-op will be having their Spring Program at the Living Hope Church in Willmar, Friday, April 24 from 7:00-8:30p.m. The public is welcomed to come and enjoy!

If your child is participating in school activities that are open to the general public, we would love to have the Unity church family notified of these. Please let the church office know of this information the Thursday prior to these events.
