WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CLUB - UIC

Campus at Aarhus University is soon to show its beauty when the trees let their colourful leaves kiss the ground, and thereby remind us that autumn has as many colours as spring. At the UIC we give our best to make autumn 2017 a wonderful time. We would like to welcome our international staff at Aarhus University as well as their families to join the UIC on a regular basis, or as often as you wish. Also, all connected with International Community are welcome to participate in the UIC activities. The programme this semester presents several interesting arrangements organised by the UIC. We are pleased to offer various events, seminars, some HR related, others with focus on cultural aspects of the Danish society. We organise Playgroup at Dokk1 on Fridays, and you have the possibility to be matched with a language partner. Additionally, we welcome all to join the UIC Coffee Club and the UIC Nights’ Out, where you can get to know your fellow internationals. All event details will be available on our website www.au.dk/uic. It is an excellent idea to sign up for our Monday email and Thursday UIC Newsletter to keep up with changes. In addition to details about the UIC events, the newsletter comes packed with information about what is on in the greater Aarhus area. The UIC aims to encourage integration into the university and city. The UIC has been assisting newcomers settle in since 1998, and welcomes people from all nations and educational backgrounds.
