Friends of the Fine Arts Society.
For over 10 years, the Friends have attracted alumni, friends, and community members alike who share a common bond: a love of the arts! Share in the excitement of the dozens of choral music, theatre, visual arts, and instrumental
music productions our students and faculty have planned for you, our audience.
Last academic year, over 400 people from destinations as diverse as Downers Grove, IL;
Manassas, VA; Bella Vista, AR; Beaverton, OR; Jamestown, ND—and many places in between—
joined as members of the Friends of the Fine Arts Society.
Your support of this organization directly enhances the quality of University of Jamestown productions, and provides scholarship assistance
to our talented students in the liberal arts. It also supports the Friends’ mission of “providing
our students opportunities to develop their understanding of acting, music, and art on a
worldly and academic stage.”
Please review this pamphlet, and discover how you may impact the arts as a

Music by Alan MenkenLyrics by Lynn Ahrens
Book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn AhrensA classic story presented in musical fashion chronicles Scrooge’s change of heart—just in time for Christmas!—through his encounters with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Tugging on our heartstrings are the memorable characters of Bob Cratchit (Scrooge’s long-suffering employee), and his son, Tiny Tim.

by William ShakespeareOver 400 years after its first performance, Twelfth Night graces the stage at University of Jamestown’s Reiland Fine Arts Center. You will find many reasons to LOL as Shakespeare’s story of stock characters (the drunkard, the fool, the clown…) unfolds through mistaken identity, trickery, and love lost and found.
