PROJECT SCOPEInsulated aluminium rainscreen overcladding andreplacement windows to three elevations delivered intwo phases to meet client needs. In addition to thedemands of keeping the library operational at alltimes, the building also housed a bank and otherservice businesses at ground level which requireduninterrupted access in order to maintain businesscontinuity. Despite these severe constraints, expertaccess planning and design of temporary worksincluding protective scaffold tunnels robust enough tosupport point loads of mastclimbers enabled thewhole project to be delivered with minimal disruptionto building users.
