• Service for managing, coordinating and promoving volunteering themes and development cooperation in the university community.

• Located at A Coruña (Elviña) and Ferrol (Esteiro).

• Born in 1996.

Development education (EpD)

• Instrument of development cooperation (1974)

• 4 dimensions:

– Sensitization– Development training– Development research– Social mobilization (Enhancing cooperation agents)

• Promotes knowledge and understanding of the realities of poverty and its causes from a critical perspective

• Enpower and trains to the citizens for the social participation and change.
