A Message from Kiki,

With all my heart I want to welcome you to Unleash the Courage Within! Your journey of being more courageous begins now. Women are some of the strongest, most beautiful people on the planet but most of us do not know our own power. Many of us fall prey to our circumstances never able to reach our full potentials in life. I know this because I’ve experienced and I’ve watched women who were very close to me experiences many of these same of these challenges and issues.

I grew up in a house where my mother struggle through drug addiction, depression, physical abuse and the lack of motivation on a daily basis. I would think to myself, there has got to be a better way. Thank God there was a better way however it took me much of my life to find it and this is why I became so passionate about helping other women find their way.

Most women want the same things out of life life, and that is to be happy in a career that we love, financially stable and have healthy nurturing family and friend relationships. But the reason we find these things so difficult to acquire at times is because we allow that little four letter word call “fear” stand in our way of developing the relationships, or going after the career of our dream. Instead we are held hostage to afraid to step out of our comfort zones and create lasting change in our lives.

Well that can all be all over today. Unleash the Courage Within is a program designed to help you stand up to your fears. It takes courage to go after your dreams. It takes courage to build lasting relationships. It takes courage to dig deep and deal with your past hurts but I believe we all the courage inside we just have to dig deep to find it. Unleash the Courage Within is here to help you realize where you are, where you want to go and how to get there. I’m so happy you decided to join in what could quite possibly be the start of a new chapter in your life!


Let’s get started! To find the answers that we seek there must first be a question. I believe that questions are some of the most powerful tools when it comes to uncovering the many hidden facts of our lives. During this call I am going to ask you a series of powerful questions and help you explore the answers. Your answers to these questions will give you answers to some of your most difficult challenges. It takes courage to ask and answer the right questions but my promise is still the same and that is to help you unleash your courage to overcome all your fears and challenges.

What Am I Fearful Of? Fear is this little four letter word has ruined thousands, even millions of lives. Fear is that emotion that keeps you from reaching your full potential. It’s that thing that holds you back when you know you were meant to do so much more. Fear is that emotion that keeps you up at night worrying about how you are going pay your overdue bills, your health, or the status of your relationships. All these negative thoughts and situations steam from fear.

In my research I have discovered there are 7 main fears that hold people back from reaching their full potential. Here are the 7 fears:

1. Fear of the Unknown: Fear of the unknown is the one of the biggest fears that tends to hinder so many women. This is because the mind tells us that in order to move forward we must know what’s going to happen, because if I know what going to happen then I can control the situation and what I don’t know I can’t control. The tricky thing about this fear is that you can never know or control the unknown, it’s called the unknown for a reason. Courageous Questions:

• Do you fear the unknown? • Why do you fear the unknown? • What story do you have to tell about an unknown experience that scared

you? • Is the unknown keeping you from reaching a certain goal?

2. Fear of Failure: Fear of failure rules over all our actions and decisions, we all do or don’t do things in order to avoid failure. Failure is a very subjective term because everyone’s perspective is different, what counts as failure to one might not count for another. Courageous Questions:

• Do you feel like a failure in certain area of your life? • Are you afraid to fail? • Has the fear of failure held you back from going after a dream or goal?

3. Fear of Pain: Whether it be physical or emotional we as people tend avoid what causes us pain. It’s called the pain and pleasure principle. All humans are born with a pleasure principle, that we will seek immediate gratification of needs, for which our bodies reward us with feelings of pleasure. The reverse is also true, and the pain principle says that, with seeking pleasure people will also seek to avoid pain. If the pleasure of doing something bad for you is more than the pain of quitting then we continue to do what’s bad for us. Courageous Questions:

• What pain or painful situation are you trying to avoid experiencing in your life?

• If the pain that you are trying to avoid was only guaranteed to be temporary would you still try to escape the pain?

• Are you willing to experience short term pain for long term gain and life pleasure?

4. Fear of Rejection: This social fear is one of the main reasons people act the way they do. We tend to (sometimes blindly) follow others actions because it helps us avoid dealing with rejection from society. We fear rejection because most of us can only justify our existence through the acknowledgement and acceptance of others. Courageous Questions:

• Do you care what others think of you? • Are you a people pleaser? • Why do you care what people think of you?

5. Fear of Loneliness: The fear of being alone is a feeling of emptiness caused by the absence of interaction with another human being. This fear plays to the fact that everyone wants to be loved and wants to be wanted.

Courageous Question:

• Do you feel lonely right now? • Do you feel like you have that someone to lean on during hard times? • Have you found the right person to spend the rest of your life with? • If you are not in an intimate relationship can you find the deep connection

you want within another relationship?

6. Fear of Inadequacy: Inadequacy is all about the standards and expectations we set for ourselves. Some of us have very high standards. We’re our own worst critics. Other people might not expect as much of us as we do of ourselves. But we project what we feel about feeling inadequate onto the world and in turn it makes us feel horrible when we don’t live up to the quote on quote norms or standard. Courageous Questions:

• Do you feel a sense of inadequacy? • What area of your life are you feeling inadequate? • Are you your own worst enemy?

7. Fear of Lack: Poverty is defined as a situation that comes from the lack of the resources needed to completely fulfill the human needs such as basic food, shelter and clothing. But some of us have a fear of lacking the things that we perceive will make us happy and whole such as a nice house, nice car, enough money so that we can do the things we want to do when we want to do them like getting our hair and nails done. Due to the fear of lack many of us stay in jobs or even relationship that are not fulfilling all because we feel if we leave we are going to lack in those area. Courageous Questions:

• Do you lack the basic resources needed to survive? • Do you fear not having enough to provide for your wants? • Are you stuck in a job because you are too comfortable with the one you

have? • Are you stuck in a relationship that you know is not good all because you

fear being alone and lacking someone to love? • What are your biggest fears now that you understand this list?

Reflection

• I must be aware of the fears hinder my progress the most.

• I have the power and courage within to overcome any fears I face from this day forward.

• Challenges will still come my way but I am capable of tackling any challenge I face.

• The key to overcoming fear is to feel it and walk right through it.

Where Am I? “You can never tackle what you first won’t acknowledge” Kiki Ramsey

Acknowledgement is the act of admitting or owning up to something. At some point in your life something happens to alert you to your reality. This can be something catastrophic or something very small. This is what I call this the Awakening of your life. You could go to a conference and it hits you in the face that something was completely wrong with your life and the way you have been living.

Courageous Question: When did you wake up? What happened to cause you to wake up?

During the awakening process one of the most important things you must do is to accept responsibility. Accepting personal responsibility includes: * Acknowledging that you are solely responsible for the choices in your life. * Accepting that you are responsible for what you choose to feel or think. * Accepting that you choose the direction for your life. * Accepting that you cannot blame others for the choices you have made.

Courageous Question:

• Who have you been blaming for your situation? • Are you willing to accept responsibility for your life?


Reflection

• It’s time to wake up and acknowledge where you are in your life. If the situation is not good then admit it so you can move on.

• You cannot tackle, beat, overcome or even get away from what you won’t first acknowledge.

• You have to stop blaming others for your state of affairs. This is your life and no one is responsible for your happiness or making your dreams come true but you.

What Do I Want Out of Life? This is one of the most important questions you can ever answer for yourself. But the truth is most women never answer this question. Most women yield the answer to this question to others. Much of the time we listen to what our friends, family and media has to say about what we should be doing and how we should act.

It’s time to take your life and your opinion back. It’s time to establish what you want out of life. When you figure out the answer to this questions so many opportunities will present themselves to you. Answer these questions seriously.

Courageous Questions:

• What is my real and true dream? • Why is this my dream? • If I could do anything and not worry about money what would that be? • Who do I want to serve? • What kind of volunteer work do I like to do? • Where do I want to see my life in 1 year?

Reflection:

• You can’t determine the direction of your life if first don’t establish where you want to go and what you want out of life.

• Deciding what you want out of life should be purely your own choice. Stop listening to what your family, friends and the world wants for you.

• It’s time to step out of your box and put your dreams out there so you can go accomplish them.

What Are My Problems or Challenges? Everyone in life faces problems. Some problems may be big, some may be small. It is your responsibility to find a way to overcome these problems and learn from them. There are two different types of problems. There are surface problems and underlying problems. Surface problems are usually a byproduct of the root causing or (underlying problem).

Some examples of surface vs. underlying problems are:

• Low self-esteem (surface) is a byproduct of emotional abuse (underlying) • Anxiety (surface) is a byproduct of growing up in a chaotic family situation

(underlying).

Until you figure out what your underlying problems are you will most likely continue to experience the surface issues that exist, ie, depression, anger, low self-esteem, loneliness, lack of success.


• What surface problems are presenting in your life right now? • What are the real true underlying problems that are causing your surface

problems to exist? • What resources are available to you to begin tackling your problems? • What lessons can you learn from the problems you are currently experiencing?

Reflection

• It’s time to go deeper and explore the underlying problems in my life. These are the real reasons for my surface problems.

• There is always a lesson to be learned with every problem I experience. My job is to try and figure out that lesson. Until I do chances are the problem will repeat itself in the future.

• No problem is too big or too small for me to handle.

What Are My Passions and Purpose In Life? Your passion and purpose go hand in hand. When you discover your purpose, you will normally find it’s something you are truly passionate about.

Passion is that drive inside of you that makes you want to move forward in your life with the things you love. Passion is that emotion that shows up even when things get tough. As you have already experienced things in life can get very tough and but when you are truly passionate about something you are willing to keep going against all odds.

Purpose is the real reason you exist. It’s why you were put here on earth. If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught by others.

It’s time to clear your mind and answer a couple of passions and purpose driven questions. These can be some of the most important questions you will ever answer.

Courageous Passion Driven Questions: 1. What are you truly passionate about? 2. What things do you like but have not tried? 3. What did you want to be when you were younger? What activities did you like

back then? 4. What activities you like to do now?

Courageous Purpose Driven Questions: 1. What things do you really love to do? 2. What are your best at? 3. What hurts? What bothers you when you see it or hear about it? 4. What make you cry or angry? 5. Who do you admire and why? 6. Who would you like to be like and why? 7. What could you do for free because you love it so much? 8. What cause are you willing to fight for? 9. What do you think your purpose is?


Reflection • The world is waiting for me to unleash my gifts. No one benefits from my gift

being locked up inside of me.

• When I am able to develop and unleash my gift I am able to financially benefit from my gifts.

• When I discover what I was placed on this earth to do I must stop at nothing to do it. Yes it will get hard but nothing in life worth having is ever easy. I will always face some kind of challenge. The only questions is what will I do in the face of the challenge.

What Choice Will I Make?

Making a decision about the direction of your life is one of the most important things you will ever do. The truth is most people never make any profound decisions about their life. These people just float through life drifting in and out of situations that are presented never considering that they could be in control of their own destiny. They allow others and the societal norms to make decisions for them. If you just go with the flow and allow other people to make decisions for you they will. It’s time to make a decision to stand up for yourself and to be present in your own life making.

When you decide to make your own choices you chose to:

• decide how you want to live your life • decide where you want to go in life • decide what dreams and goals to tackle • decide to overcome any and all obstacle that you will face no matter what

Courageous Movement: Make the decision right now to stand up to the challenges and fear that you face. Make a decision to Unleash the courage that you have inside when a difficult situation arises.

Your Promise To Yourself: I promise to do everything humanly possible to overcome my obstacles and fear. I know I have what it takes to overcome anything that comes my way. I know I have so much courage built up just waiting to come out. I promise to unleash my courage so I can have the life I deserve.


• What choice do I need to make in my life right now? • Have I ever made a promise to myself? • What is the promise I want to make to myself in my own words?


Reflection

• I have choices in my life because I am completely in control of my own life.

• I can choose to face my life head on or I can choose to hind and never be able to manifest the life I truly deserve.

• Not making a choice is still making a choice. In this situation I’m just leaving my life and my life’s circumstance up to chance and up to other people to make the decisions for me. This is not the way I chose to live.

What Will Happen When I Choose To Unleash My Courage? Courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear. Courage is bravery. Courageous is the ability to do something that you know is right or good, even though it is dangerous, frightening, or very difficult.

The good news is courage can be taught and obtained. It is like a muscle. The more you work it out the stronger and bigger it gets.

When you chose to unleash your courage things begin to happen:

*Relationships get better

*Finances begin to grow

*Careers and business begin to take off

*Health begins to get better

*Spiritual connectedness grows deeper

Courageous Questions: Are you ready to unleash your courage into the world?

When you unleash your courage what relationships will begin to heal?

When you unleash your courage how will your finances change?

When you unleash your courage what changes will you see in your career/.business?

When you unleash your courage what health issues will you begin to tackle?

When you unleash your courage how will your spiritual connection with God get deeper?


Reflection

• Unleashing my courage means changing the way I operate my life. It means operating from strengths based perspective vs. operating from a place of lack and fear.

• When I decide to unleash my courage I decide to put myself in the driver seat of my life. I am no longer allowing others to tell me what to do with my life.

• When I decide to unleash my courage I decide to take time to evaluate my life and what I want out of it.

• When I decide to unleash my courage I decide to welcome and understand that failure is going to be a part of my life.

• When I decide to unleash my courage I decide to never ever quit because quitting is not an option in my life.

• When I decide to unleash my courage I decide that fear will never stop me. I will feel the fear and walk right through it because on the other side of fear is this amazing, bold, fierce and courageous life.
