• Do your preparation. Plan your time

• Start strong. “You don’t get a 2nd change to make a 1st impression.”

• Involve them immediately by asking questions: open -> closed

• Create clarity by telling them the session’s objectives and timing

• Involve, involve, involve everyone all of the time

• Use stories, anecdotes and humor to maintain momentum
