• Sky Q Gen 1 1TB and 2TB could only deliver 12V 275mA which is not enough to power a dSCR switch

your equipment and any limitation it may have.
• Consider site specifications and mains points.

Planning your Hybrid IRS
• When planning a new IRS, powering is relatively easy, as you can add mains points as required but remember each point does cost circa £100
• What happens when you want to upgrade a Legacy IRS for dSCR
• With most Brands
• you quickly run out of DC power

Voltage, Current
• To ensure long term reliable operation, we must consider the voltage and total current requirement of a system.
• dSCR Multiswitches consume a lot of energy and generate a lot of heat, ensure adequate ventilation
• If you are not sure measure the total consumption • If you are not sure measure the total consumption before extending the system with IRS Multimeter (V18-310)
• Never connect 2 or more PSU without DC isolating from each other
