Admission Procedure, in general, will be as per the rules and regulations laid by the Directorate off Education (DTE), Mumbai, and Maharashtra State .The eligibility criteria for criteria or admission will be according to the norms of DTE and SPPU.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2008 with the present annual intake of 120 (First Year) students and 60 (Direct Second Year). A post-graduate course M.E. Mechanical intake of 48 (Heat Power 24) and (Design Engineering 24) is started from the year 2012 and 2013 respectively. CELL AGAINST HARASSMENT AND ATROCITIES AGAINST WOMEN, UNIVERSITY OF PUNE
In 1997, the Supreme Court recognized and addressed the issue of sexual harassment at the workplace. The judgment created mandatory sexual harassment prevention guidelines for the workplace, applicable all over India. The knowledge and information about it can lead to a workplace free of sexual harassment for all persons.n keeping with the Supreme Court guidelines, the Management Council of the University of Pune through a resolution adopted on 10th July 2001 established a Cell Against Harassment and Atrocities Against Women at the workplace.
NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
Keeping the thought of national service, our institute had started the National Service Scheme. Since the establishment the NSS had been conducting a number of social and cultural activities benefitting the society and student community. A few of the activities conducted by the NSS in the past two years include Blood Donation Camp, Street Plays to demonstrate social welfare & eradicate evils, Swatchta Abhiyaan and winter camp. Every year a winter camp is organized by the NSS so that students could visit remote places and conduct developmental works. The NSS of TCOER has been frequently featured in newspapers for their works and social contributions.

Library is the heart of the college. As heart supplies blood to all parts of the body , library provides knowledge to all faculty and students . Library is a place of pride at KJEI campus & an essential component of learning, research and education mission. The library is fully computerized with SLIM 21 software. It helps in accessing a wide range of materials, both in print and electronic version. The library holds more than 21381 volumes with 4322 titles on Engineering and Managementand subscribes 91 technical print journals as well as online databases like IEEE, Science Direct, ASME, ASCE etc
Transport Facility
College has bus service from different locations so that students as well as staff residing at any location within Pune will have a nearby pick up and drop point. 14 buses are available with capacity of 40 seats each. Scholarship/Bank Loan
Institute Provides scholarships for the needy and economically weaker students who hail from rural background .The students are provided with scholarships in terms of tuition fees and hostel fees. Sports Facility
Institute Gymkhana provides the best facilities with quality sports equipment (Indoor and Outdoor) within the campus. Total Area of playground is 22500 sqm. All Sports activities are guided through a full time professionally qualified physical director. Also many Sports events are organized under the” KalyanKarandak “Event. And Prize money of 50,000 will be distributed every year.
Food Court
Provides hygienic food to the students. The food is available at subsidized rates. The Canteen caters 400 persons at a time. Monthly mess facility, Ice cream Parlor, Juice Parlor coffee shop are also available in the campus for students .
