he UCSF Department of Radiology presents a new course covering topics ofpractical and clinical interest in up-to-date imaging. The material covered willinclude current information on imaging evaluation and interventionaltechniques in Women's Imaging and in abdominal, thoracic, musculoskeletaland neurovascular radiology. In addition, there will be special emphasis onevidence-based radiology, outcomes research and assessing the medicalliterature. Presentations will highlight practical applications and addresscurrent controversies surrounding cancer screening.
