AFTERBEFORE

Scott Widenhofer, IT Director, and Carla Showell-Lee, Chief Information Officer, formed a website sub-committee in January to upgrade the township's website. The project, approached in a series of stages, consists of 14 departmental staff members who are consolidating, reorganizing, and purging in order to streamline information. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the E-Newsletter now have links on the front page of the website. Justin Friend, PIO Assistant; Don Herbert, Television Services Coordinator; and Scott Widenhofer all worked hard to make these icons more visible.

This conceptual rendering of the Upper Merion Township LED Message Board will be located at the intersection of Henderson Road and West Valley Forge Road. It will enable the township to display timely information. An early summer groundbreaking is expected.

For over 25 years, Valley Forge Lockshop has provided professional physical security services and products to the greater Delaware Valley area. Our technicians have over 100 combined years of experience with mechanical locking systems, electronic access control, video surveillance and alarm systems. In 2001, we changed our name to Valley Forge Security Center to reflect our ability to integrate these various forms of security and take advantage of emerging trends in an evermore changing fast-paced environment. At VFSC, we pride ourselves in providing practical economical solutions when it comes to the needs of our customers.

Valley Forge Lockshop / Valley Forge Security Center has been a mainstay in the Upper Merion Community with a store front in the Valley Forge Shopping Center since 1990. Company President, Bob Cook, was born and raised in Upper Merion and has enjoyed great success in growing the company with the flourishing retail and corporate climate in the township. In April 2015, look for VFSC to move to its new location in the old K&G Men's space next to Peppers Restaurant. The storefront will be familiar to our regular customers, being fully stocked with parts including safes, padlocks, latch guards and key chains and as always, one of the most fully stocked key walls around. The offices will be upgraded to optimize customer service and a conference room will be available for training. We look forward to continuing to provide reliable exceptional service from our new location. Please feel free to stop in and say "Hi" or contact us by phone 610-265-3380 or email [email protected].
