Children and youth bring your backpacks to be blessed to start off the school year right. You won’t want to miss hearing about the exciting programs being offered beginning August 23 rd . Promotion Sunday Today is Promotion Sunday. Children will be promoted to the next grade in their Sunday school classes. Children entering third grade will receive a Bible from their church family during the 11:00 service. FUMC third grade children are: Lane Clark, Hartley Howard, Delia Sigler and Jerah Turner. Congratulations! High School Seniors 2018 The HOPE Sunday School Class is preparing for their Senior Prayer Pals. If you are a high school senior or know a senior who attends FUMC, please forward their name, address, and the name of the school they attend to the church office, 476-9694. The HOPE class would like to include all High School Seniors in our church and ensure that no one is left off the list. Each Senior will receive a school supply gift bag. Lay Leadership Involvement for 2018 Charge Conference is just around the corner. This is the time we celebrate ministries of the past year and set goals and leadership for next year. The Lay Leadership Committee will be meeting soon to nominate leadership for next year. We want you! Included in the bulletins Sunday, August 6 th and 13 st , there will be a Lay Leadership Involvement for 2018 insert. This is a step you can take in putting your passions into action.
