Children and youth bring your backpacks to be blessed to start off the school year right. You won’t want to miss hearing about the exciting programs being offered beginning August 23 rd . Promotion Sunday Today is Promotion Sunday. Children will be promoted to the next grade in their Sunday school classes. Children entering third grade will receive a Bible from their church family during the 11:00 service. FUMC third grade children are: Lane Clark, Hartley Howard, Delia Sigler and Jerah Turner. If you are a high school senior or know a senior who attends FUMC, please forward their name, address, and the name of the school they attend to the church office, 476-9694. The HOPE class would like to include all High School Seniors in our church and ensure that no one is left off the list. Each Senior will receive a school supply gift bag. Community Celebration & Program Kickoff

A community celebration and kickoff for fall programs is being

planned for Wednesday, August 16th in the Christian Life Center at

6:00 p.m. Make plans to join us for dinner (donations accepted) and

take part in the trivia challenge and sing-a-long! Children and youth

bring your backpacks to be blessed to start off the school year right.

You won’t want to miss hearing about the exciting programs being

offered beginning August 23rd.
