Puerto Rico Research Incentive• Puerto Rico: Tax incentive for RO1-type

Researchers in Puerto Rico (2008): “Ley de Incentivo Contributivo a Investigadores Científicos”

– This law pretends to retain and attract highly competitiveresearchers to Puerto Rico to advance the scientific and economic development of the island. Researchers or scientists who receive a competitive research grant (RO1 or similar), may have their salary and compensation exempt from taxes. [Eligibility requirements apply].
