Enablers Business Cases – EC Funding Memo
• The eGovernment Executive Council has been working on a memo to the EITIRB outlining a funding strategy and a framework for moving forward with the Enablers:
• All three Enabler business cases recommended to advance to Control phase of capital planning process
• Due to likely FY 2003 budget constraints, funding for the initiatives will be prioritized so that the most critical ones move forward as soon as possible
• Details of agency contributions and other funding sources will be determined in the near future, after the overall funding strategy/framework is finalized
• The memo also addresses USDA’s contributions to the Presidential eGovernment Initiatives, providing a general framework for obtaining the necessary funding
