TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

STERI-CHLOR D is designed for sanitizing glasses, dishes, utensils and food contact surfaces in restaurants, commissaries, beverage, and other food service establishments.

EFFECTIVE

STERI-CHLOR D sanitizer fulfills the criteria of appendix F, the Grade NAn Pasteurized Milk Ordinance 1965 recommendations of the United States Public Health Service, when tested in 500 ppm water hardness (as CaC03) by the A.O.A.C. Germicidal and Detergent Sanitizer Test method.

ECONOMICAL

Sanitizing solutions of only 100 ppm available chlorine are required for most sanitizing operations.

NON-FOAMING

Due to its non-foaming characteristics, STERI-CHLOR D can be used in all types of spray systems .

USDA AUTHORIZATIONS

STERI-CHLOR D is authorized for use under USDA inspection and grading programs as a sanitizer for all surfaces not always requiring a rinse (D2).

The concentration of STERI-CHLOR D can be readily determined using the Diversey Wyandotte chlorine test kit with a factor of 10 ppm.

Always wash and rinse prior to sanitizing. To sanitize food equipment, use 1 ounce of Diversey Wyandotte STERI-CHLOR D in 3 gallons of water (100 ppm available chlorine). Brush, immerse, or circulate.

Test sanitizer solution periodically with an available chlorine tester. When soluti0n depreciates to 50 ppm Av.C12, discard. Diversey Wya~dotte chlorine test papers and chlorine test kits are available at no cost from your Diversey Wyandotte representative.

Read product label for complete use directions.

Store in a cool, dry place away from food ingredients. Rotate stocks to insure product is not stored over 6 months.

USE DIRECTIONS

I. Terminal Sanitizing Rinse for Glasses, Dishes and utensils

1. Scrape and pre-flush articles to be washed. 2. Wash with recommended Diversey Wyandotte products.

3. Rinse with potable water.

4. Sanitize -- by immersion in STERI-CHLOR 0 sanitizer solution using 1 oz to each 3 gallons of water (100 ppm available chlorine). Immerse all utensils for at least two minutes or for contact time specified by governing sanitary regulations. Test periodically with chlorine test kit. When solution depreciates to 50 ppm available chlorine, di&card.

5. Air dry on clean drainboard.

A. Clean equipment immediately after use. 1. Rinse equipment immediately after use.

2. Wash with recommended Diversey Wyandotte product.

3. Rinse with potable water. 4. Air dry -- protect from dust and dirt •

B. Sanitize immediately before reuse with STERI-CHLOR D sanitizer solution: use 1 oz per 3 gallons of water (100 ppm available chlorine). Test periodically with chlorine test kit. When solution depreciates to 50 ppm available chlorine, discard. Do not rinse after sanitizing with STERI-CHLOR 0 solution unless required by local health regulations, then rinse with potable water.

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS. STRu:IG OZIDIZING AGENT: Use only clean, dry utensils and mix 0.1ly with wa'i:er. Mixing other chemicals or gross filth (urine, feces, etc.) will start a chemical reaction resulting in release of toxic gases, heat, and possible fire. In case of decomposition, isolate container in open air if possible, and flood with large volumes of water.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight or heat. Close container after use. In case of spill, flood ar~a with large quantities of water. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water and discard by placing in trash collection or burying it in an approved landfill area. Do not contaminate food or feed by storage, disposal, or cleaning of eqUipment.

USDA AUTHORIZATION ~

STERI-CHLOR D is authorized by the U. S. Department of Agriculture under Category D2, Sanitizers for all surfaces not always requiring I I a rinse in plants under federal inspection programs.

Before using these compounds, food products and packaging materials [i .... =- ) must be removed from the room or carefully protected. A potabl~ water rinse is not required following use of these compounds on ~ previously cleaned hard surfaces provided that the surfaces are ~ adequately drained before contact with food so that little or no residue remains which can adulterate or have a deleterious effact r::~ on edible products. USE DIRECTIONS

I. Terminal Sanitizing Rinse for Glasses, Dishes and Utensils

1. scrape and pre-flush articles to be washed. 2. Wash with recommended Diversey Wyandotte products.

3. Rinse with potable water. 4. Sanitize -- by immersion in STERI-CHLOR D saniti~er

solution using 1 oz to each 3 gallons of water (100 ppm available chlorine). Immerse all utensils for at least two minutes or for contact time specified by governing sanitary regulations. Test periodically with chlorine test kit. When solution depreciates to 50 ppm available chlorine, discard.

5. Air dry on clean drainboard.
