Cooper & Company served as the general contractor and Croft & Associates was the architect for the project. Cooper & Company’s management team consisted of Kristin Edwards - Project Manager and Buddy Pickle and Joe Hewitt - Superintendents. Ace’s project team consisted of Erik Sweatman - Project Manager, Erik Phillips - Superintendent and Buckshot Shuman – Estimator. Other Ace employees that worked on the project were Tarris Townsend, Devin Adams and Osiris Cavazos. The all-new 15,270 square foot, single-story facility features warehouse space, a data center and administrative offices. Our feature job for this issue is the Cobb County

School District Data Recovery Center in Marietta,

Georgia. Cooper & Company served as the general

contractor and Croft & Associates was the architect for

the project. Cooper & Company’s management team

consisted of Kristin Edwards - Project Manager and

Buddy Pickle and Joe Hewitt - Superintendents. Ace’s

project team consisted of Erik Sweatman - Project

Manager, Erik Phillips - Superintendent and Buckshot

Shuman – Estimator. Other Ace employees that

worked on the project were Tarris Townsend, Devin

Adams and Osiris Cavazos.

The all-new 15,270 square foot, single-story facility

features warehouse space, a data center and

administrative offices.

In Memory of

William D. Frazier, Jr. 1988 - 2020

On May 19th, the Ace family suffered a

great loss, William D. Frazier, Jr., passed

away at the age of 31 at Memorial Health

University Medical Center. William was

born on November 28, 1988 in Valdosta,

Georgia. He returned to his Ace family in

March of this year as an Electrician's

Helper out of our Statesboro Division.

His love and competitiveness for cooking

and his fun sense of humor will always be

remembered at Ace. We are so grateful we were blessed to

be his friends and family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this

difficult time.

Anniversaries

Our feature Employee this month is

Corey Hinson. Corey joined the Ace

Team in May 2013 and is currently as

a Senior Project Manager based our of

our Statesboro Division. His most

recent assignments were Jenkins High

School, Tomochichi U.S. Courthouse,

St. Josephs/Candler Bluffton Oncology

Center, Gulfstream Service Center, Augusta University

College of Science & Math and Columbia County

Performing Arts Center.

Corey graduated from Wheeler County High School in

Alamo, Georgia and holds an unrestricted master

electrician license.

He lives in Statesboro, Georgia with his wife Shannon.

They have 2 children, Taylor (16) and Ansley (12). In his

spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family,

hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.

Thank you Corey, for being an important part of the Ace

Team!

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to four Ace Family

members. JaNeene Turner lost her mother, Pearl E. Turner,

on May 1st at the age of 80, Seana Roberts lost her mother,

Sonja Minnie Mobley, May 1st at the age of 50, Cliff Wheeler

lost his father, James Roy (Jim) Wheeler, Sr. on June 17 at

the age of 72 and Jake Forbes on the loss of his mother

Marlyn Spires Forbes, June 25th at the age of 74. Our

thoughts and prayers are with these four families during this

difficult time.

Congratulations to Mike Rowland on his new role as Division

Safety Professional for the Macon Division. Mike has held

numerous positions in his 30-year career at Ace including

electrician, foreman, superintendent and assistant service

manager. His experience in these roles as well as his passion

for the safety and well-being of his fellow employees will pro-

vide the leadership to ensure Macon stays “Safety Focused”.

In Memory of

Michael Joseph Holmes, Sr. 1973 - 2020

On May 11th, the Ace Family suffered a

great loss, Michael Joseph Holmes, Sr.,

passed away at the age of 47 in Dublin,

Ohio. Michael was born on January 14,

1973 in Atmore, Alabama. He joined the

Ace family in February of this year as Site

Safety Representative out of the

Tennessee Division.

He was out going, love to ride his

Harley, a great husband, dad and

coworker. Although his time with Ace was

short, we will be forever grateful for his contributions to Ace’s

safety program.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michael’s wife, Sherry,

son Michael Jr., and family during this time of mourning and

reflection.

Congratulations to Danny Mooney on his recent marriage

to Janet Williams on June 6th in Hebron, Ohio. May your

years ahead be filled with lasting joy!

Best wishes to newlyweds, Hunter Hearn and Kaycie

Moore who were married on June 13th at Horseshoe

Lake in Huron, Tennessee. We wish you and your bride a

lifetime of happiness.

Andy Coronado is the Lead Service Technician for our

charging stations for

Electrify America

and with assisting

MAXGEN with the

maintenance of the EV charging stations.

Leslie Ortiz recently completed all requirements for First

Aid/CPR/AEC Instructor. Well done!

With the hot and humid weather setting in, our Safety

Professionals are working hard to keep our employees

safe by providing a variety of things to deal with heat

stress. From Frogg Toggs, cooling skull caps, water

coolers, Sqwincher Qwik Stiks to industrial fans to

provide a source of steady airflow. The safety of our

team members is our number one priority! Great

job...keep them cool!

The Statesboro Division held a Key Managers Retreat 18-

19 June at Beaver Creek Plantation in Twin City,

Georgia. Attendees included all Estimators, Project

Assistants, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers,

Division Safety Professional, Division Manager Assistant

and the Division Manager. The two day retreat was an

action packed team building event that included training

sessions, a corn hole tournament, a skeet shoot

tournament, raffles, great southern food and quality time

together. Subjects included Safety Training, Electrical

Construction Fundamentals, Keeping it in Order - God,

Family & Work, Building a Championship Team, Material

Handling, Tools, Integrity, The Ace Brand, Who we are/

Who we want to become and What we do good/What we

must improve on.

The team of Jonathan Taylor and Michael Melancon won

the corn hole Tournament and the team of Matt Erickson

and Jada Dailey placed 2nd. Matt Purvis was the overall

winner of the Skeet Shoot Tournament.
