New Youth CenterAfter many months of construction delays, the Youth Center on Kessler Field will finally open in April. The facility, conveniently located next to the middle school, features the latest in electronic equip ment, a full kitchen and rooms for studying, recre-ation and computer usage. When it’s warm outside,
youth can chill on the patio or hit the skate park. The CYSS Hired! program (FMWR apprenticeships for youth ages 15-18) will also be located within the Youth Center. For information, call 09721-96-6732/DSN 354-6732.
Finney Fitness Center Renovations Last winter, Finney Fitness Center renovations were com-pleted. Customers are currently enjoying two brand new racquetball courts; a refurbished area with new circuit training equipment; and a large room, flooded with natural light, that is jam packed with high-tech cardiovacular equipment such as treadmills and eliptical trainers, along with a special area for free weights. Stop by and check out the upgrades...we think you’ll like what you see!
ARMY FAMILY COVENANT: IN ACTION AT USAG SCHWEINFURT
CYSS Facility Name ChangesWhen our customers PCS, they often get confused as FMWR facilities have different names at each installa-tion. To assist in making transitions easier for you, CYSS (Army-wide) implemented standardized names for a few of their facilities. Central Registration is now known as Parent Central Services; Outreach Services is Parent and Outreach Services; The Middle School Zone/Teen Center is the Youth Center; Short Term Alternative Child Care (STACC) is Kids on Site; and School Age Services is now the School Age Center.
