Moisture Sensors provide a simple means of quantifying the moisture content of skin. Simply press the moisture sensor against the skin and it instantly provides a digital display of the percentage of skin moisture at that spot. The literature shows you a relative scale of percentage numbers related to skin condition. Sebum (oil content) Sensors measure the oil content of the skin at the point being tested. Used with a moisture sensor reading it helps in determining the balance between moisture and sebum content to determine the proper combination of cleansers and moisturizers to recommend. Elasticity Sensors firmness of the skin or good spring in the skin are an indication of youthful looking skin. Elasticity and moisture content readings have a direct bearing on overall youthful appearance.
