The Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems
A project for creating a comprehensive and integrated system for effective
policing.
Includes integration of more than 15,000 police stations and over 8000
supervisory offices across the country,
Conceived in the year 2009 with a total approved outlay of Rs. 2000 Cr.

6. Capacity Building
• One of mandates of NCRB is to provide training in IT and Finger Print
Science for capacity building in the Police organizations in the country.
• Each year training Branch of NCRB conducts on an average 60 training
programs for Indian Police Officers.
• NCRB recently launched online National Cybercrime Training Centre (NCTC)
