Preparation before Use Install SIM Card Follow the following diagram to install the SIM card. Install Memory card As the mobile phone does not have enough storage space, to use some functions, you need to install a memory card (This mobile phone use T-FLASH card.) Install T-FLASH card: Open the back cover to take out the battery, release the T-Flash card lock, insert the T-Flash card into its slot, and restore the lock and the battery before insert SIM Card Take out SIM Card before restarting the mobile phone. Install Battery The mobile phone is suitable for original battery and accessories. When the battery is idle, it is recommended to put it into the protection box. insert battery Take out battery Charge Battery When the battery is used up, charge it in time.Over- discharge can damage the battery. During charging, the battery capacity icon on the screen flickers from the right to the left. After the battery is charged full, the icon is full of bars. Slight heat during charging is normal. insert Memory Card Take out Memory Card saved on the mobile phone include multi-numbers. Every contact saved into SIM card can only include name and number.The mobile phone supports 500 groups of numbers View: browse the details of the contact. Send SMS: input the message, and sent to the contact. Send MMS: send multimedia message. Call: make a phone call of the contact. Edit: edit the name and the number of the contact. Delete: delete from SIM, from phone and one by one. Copy: copy all contacts from SIM to phone, from phone to SIM Move: move the contact.from the phone to SIM Card Send business card: send business card as you need. Add to blacklist: add your contact to blacklist. Mark several: select several contacts, and continue the corresponding choice. Caller Groups: set call tone and members for five callers’ groups. Callers’ group member can only come from the number saved on phone. Phonebook settings: set the prefered settings - - - - - - - - - - - - - Call record Missed calls: view the duration of all missed calls. Dialed calls: view the duration of all dialed calls. Received calls: view the duration of all received calls. Delete call logs: delete “Dialed calls”, “Missed calls”, “Received calls” and “All calls”. Please make sure need to delete the call logs before to do this function. Call durations: This needs the support of the network service provider. SMS Counter: see the received and sent message GPRS Counter: See the received and sent data on GPRS - - - - - - - Channel list: FM channel list, click “options” to compile and play the current channel. Manual input: To input any FM channel that you Auto search: search channel automatic - - - Video player It supports the videos in 3PG and MP4. In such mode, you can have the following operations to the specified file in 3PG and MP4. Options of the player Press Key 4 to reward playback timeline ,Press key 6 to fast forward playback timeline position. press key 5 to play and pause video file Sound recorder After choosing “Sound Recorder”, you can press UP direction key to start or pause the recording, press “Options” to have the following operations: New record: You can record new files. List: You can view all files. Settings: You can set the storage position for record files, including phone and memory card. and you can set audio quality either Low or High. - - - service provider. When the SMS capacity is full, there will be an SMS icon flickering on the standby interface. The full capacity can affect SMS reception. Delete some SMS to solve the problem. Write Message: write message in this menu. Inbox: You can see the SMS in the inbox. and select to view, reply,call sender,forward,delete, delete all,save to Phonebook,Mark serveral and adavanced. Drafts: If you are editing the message and you don’t want to send the messages out immediately, you can save the message to Drafts. Outbox: If you are editing the message and send, the Messages will be save here if it is failed to be sent out. Sent: The message are sent and saved here. Delete messages: Refer to the phone to delete the message of Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent box, Archive and All messages. Broadcast message: Cell broadcast is a kind of information service such as weather report, traffic etc that the network operator sends to the GSM users within certain area. In dual-SIM mode, you can separately set SIM1 and SIM2. Templates: With it, you can pre-edit some common phrases, which is convenient for quick SMS editing. Message settings: you can set prefered setting for text message and MMS message. - - - - - - - - - Music player To download music, you must insert the T-Flash card into the mobile phone, switch off the mobile phone, connect the mobile phone and PC with USB cable, then the PC will detect the new hardware and create a new mobile HD. Download the chosen MP3 file to under "My Music" of the mobile disk rather than in such folders as Speed dial With the function, you can set 8 contacts’ phone numbers for quick dialing. Before usingthis function ,you need to turn on Speed dial function by entering to Speed dial > Then select “Status” > and set “On” To define the number for each key ,by entering Speed dial>Set Number then press “OK” to edit the number for key 2-key9 Settings Profiles Your mobile phone is provided with multiple profiles so that you can customize some settings in different cases for different events. Alert type: choose any one from Ring, Vibration, Vibration and Ring and Vibration then Ring Ring Type: You can choose any one from single, repeat and ascending and beep once SIM incoming call: you can choose ring type as your phone guides you. Ringtone volume: set the volume of the Ring. Message: set message Tone. Message Volume: Set the volume of message Ring. Keypad: Click or Tone. Keytone volume: set the volume of keypads. Power off/on: Set tone for power on/off. System alert: On/Off. - - - - - - - - - Time and Date: With this function, you can set city, time and date format and the time of specific place. Phone Settings In such menu, you can set schedule power on/off, phone language, pref. input method, deldicated key and flight mode etc. Call settings Call Waiting: You can set this function On or Off. The call hold and multi-party call cannot be active unless this function is activated. This needs network support. Call Divert: This is a kind of network function, which cannot be used unless you apply to the network operator for it. With this function, you can divert calls meeting he conditions to another number. Call Barring: You can define how to bar outgoing call incoming call Line Switching: You can choose Line 1 or Line 2. Closed User Group: This function needs network support. Please consult the local operator for details. Advance settings: User can select to set blacklist, auto redial, Call Time Reminder, Reject by SMS and answer mode Display Settings You can set standby menu display as wallpaper, screen saver, power on display, power off display, Show date and time and LCD backlight. Connection setting Bluetooth - - - - - - Network Settings Data account Security Settings SIM security: set SIM lock (PIN code) as on/off. When this option is chosen, it is necessary to input PIN code for every insert of the SIM card. Security Lock: set it as On or Off. It is a password of 4-8 digits and the defaulted one is 0000. You can change it. Restore Factory Settings You can restore the factory settings of the mobile phone. The factory setting password is 0000. Organizer Calculator The upper/lower direction keys for shifting “+, - , × , ÷". Press the clear key to clear the latest inputs or results digit by digit; press the clear key long to clear all content or result; Press “OK” key to obtain the result. Calendar With this function, you can set the alarm clock to remind you of your schedule and record your schedule. To view all memos of one day, press OK to see the schedule. You can have the following operations: view, view all, add event, delete event, jump to date and go to today. To do list You can have such operations as Create Memo, Browse, - - - Add, Edit, Delete, Delete All and Send on .If you have set alarm for the memo, when the set time is reached, the mobile phone will ring and display the memo content. To Stop SOS function by long press SOS key for 3-5 seconds. Before using this function ,you need to turn on the SOS button function by entering SOS Menu >SOS Button>”ON” (if you need to turn off this function just set “Off” To set up the emergency number by entering SOS menu> Emergency Number and then user can manually input the emergency number or edit from phonebook up to 5 numbers (If user does not set this emergency number ,it will dial to “191” as a default User can edit the message for sending out to the emergency number automatically by entering SOS Menu> Select one emergency number > then press “options” >Select 3..Message edit > type your personal message for SOS function To make the sms automatically send out when pressing SOS button,user can go to SOS Menu> Select one emergency number > then press “options” >Select 4. Send SMS Config Alarm clock The system has set 5 alarm clock options and the defaulted is off. You can activate one option or all options according to the actual demand. Every alarm clock option can set independent time and date. When the time is reached, the mobile phone will give out alert tone and flicker the current time and date on the screen. Press Stop to stop alarm clock; press Sleep, then the mobile phone will pause ringing and continue after 4min. File Manager You can manage photos, MP3 and folders. [Phone]-- The storage body is phone. [Open]: You can open Audio, Images, Photos, My Music and Video folders. User can select Play, Send, New Folder, Rename, Delete, Sort by,Copy, Move, Delete All files and Details for each file (depend on file types). Services Internet Services Homepage: Start the website chosen in the connection settings file. Input address: Input the website to be logged in. Recent pages: Record the latest 10 web pages browsed. Settings: - - - Homepage: Default/User defined. Data account: You can select automatc or prelist data account.. Browser options: You set whether to display images during waiting time and when browsing WebPages. Preferences: you can set Timeout, Show picture, Cache and Cookies. 4. For your Safety For your safety and proper use of the mobile phone, please read the following guidelines carefully: Do not switch the mobile phone on when close to chemical factory, gas station or other explosive objects. During driving, please use headset for safety purpose; otherwise in emergency, always stop the car on roadside to have a call conversation. Because the use of the mobile phone can cause interference in the aircraft, never use the mobile phone in aircraft. Please switch off the mobile phone before boarding. The suitable temperature for the phone and accessories is 0-40 Celcius. The height to use the phone shall be less than 2,000m. Do not use liquid or wet cloth with strong cleanser to clean the mobile phone. Always keep the mobile phone out of children’s reach. - - - - - - 5. Specific Absorption Rate information Your phone has been designed to comply with applicable safety requirements for exposure to radio waves. These requirements are based on scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. These guidelines include safety margins designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The radio wave exposure guidelines employ a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. Tests for SAR are conducted by using standardized method with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all used frequency bands. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various i-Mobile phone models, they are all designed to meet the relevant guidelines for exposure to radio waves. The SAR limit recommended by the international Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection - - - (ICNIRP), which is 2W/kg averaged over ten (10) grams of tissue. 6. Battery Information Type Capacity li-ion 1000 mAh The battery life depends on many factors, including the SIM card, network conditions, settings, usage and enviorenment. Making calls, turning on the backlight and media player will consume more battery power. The standby time is shorter when the network is not available than in the standard status. For power saving, the backlight turns off automatically if your phone stands idle for an assigned time. In cellular network / signal and sounds that are used with mobile phone and accessory is the service of independent operators, not i-mobile. Therefore, i-mobile will not be responsible for the working process, the readiness of the service, and the area covered. Any mobile phone and accessories that are already repaired or had parts replacement, the warranty period will continue from the remaining warranty onward or 60 days from the repaired date whichever is longer. Customer has to pay for the repair cost and cost of replacement parts provided that the said repair are not in the warranty conditions. The warranty sticker on the mobile phone must not be torn, tattered, scraped or crossed out. THIS WARRANTY IS VOID UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Small alteration in a picture taken by a camera might occur in each mobile phone and accessory is considered normal and it is not the camera module to be deemed as malfunction. The warranty will not cover the responsibility of the loss of any personal information during the repair at Authorized Service center of i-mobile, including the applications, songs, videos, and any memberships that Customer has already purchased. The warranty will not cover the damage that occurs from the use of any device under “i-mobile brand” with other products which are not the product of i-mobile. The warranty will not cover any expenses in the co-ordination with i-mobile for solving the problem - 3. Use of Menu Functions Phonebook The mobile phone is provided with the business card folder type phonebook.
